FMRTE has been available since FM 2008 and we have seen it evolve greatly since then. It is mostly known as the most popular save game editor that lets you change finances, club reputation, stadiums, kits, player attributes, personal information, CA / PA, positions, heal injuries, contracts and lots more with ease, while the game is loaded.

Since v5.1 FMRTE has become a premium application. There is a free version available but is for scouting only, and the actual editing is disabled. As a result, we will no longer update this download page until a fully functional free version is released. Our official statement on the matter can be found on the thread "Annoyed, I need to donate to use FMRTE" (Post I - Post II).

Requirements:
.NET FRAMEWORK 4.0If you don't know if you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed please download FMRTE installer version, or run the application "NET-Detector" that is inside FMRTE Folder, it will check if you need to install .NET 4.0 or not.

Important Notes:
- FMRTE is in beta and may have bugs that can crash your game, use it at your own risk, and make sure you backup your savegame!
- If a player has retired from international football, FMRTE won't show it on player profile. Go to player relations screen instead!
- Changing a player/staff name will affect all players/staff that has the same name
- Using the swap feature may corrupt your savegame, please use it carefuly!
Bug reports:
PLEASE if you see any weird attribute, DO NOT CHANGE IT, and let the developer know HERE. This is where you should report any other bugs as well.Keyboard Shortcuts:
F4 - Load game dataF3 - Sets focus on Search textbox, so you dont need to select the search textbox to search for players
F5 or CTRL+R - Reloads the FMRTE current screen (same as click refresh button)
CTRL+S - Saves FMRTE current screen (same as pressing the Save button)
CTRL+F - Opens FMRTE Search Filter Window
CTRL+M - Opens FMRTE Mass Edit Window
CTRL+SHIFT+W - Closes all tabs
CTRL+NUMBER - Adds a new tab with the gamer club, if are playing with two managers, you can use CTRL+1 and CTRL+2

Lads, Far too many people jumping the gun on this. Yes , FMRTE has been free for years but the guy's who develop it put in an awful lot of effort to make it for the community and every year people are asking , whens the new one out? I need the new one?...so if it's taking up a lot of their free time to develop year in year out and you really want it €5 if hardly going to leave you bankrupt.
We should support the FM cummunity and the people who try and make it better for everyone.
I don't use FMRTE I use Genie scout as I just want it to scout players but if they ever charged €5 for the download I'd happily pay it.

A big "UP YOURS" to the guy who develops FMRTE. Listen Raul (or whatever the fuck ur name is), you are the not the only guy who develops something the internet community...people like Michael make Ad-block,which is a thousand times more valuable software than FMRTE,yet it is honor-freeware i.e you can pay if you want to and even if you dont you can use the full software. People make donations to those kinda guys...not some slob who has recently grown a wallet. Go get a heart.
hello can anyone help me to use fmrte without making a donation... iv tried everything even download the 5.0.2 version which u dont need an activation key for and its says it does not support my version and i was told to delete system 32 i done that and still nothing its really annoying cuz i wana play fm2012 with fmrte cuz its better .... when ur replying write somehtin like @darraghCFC ... many replys would be apprectiated cuz im really annoyed i want to play it
can u explain to me how the whole thing works, i'm kinda stuck somewhere

I can understand why people who spend time creating this tool feel they should be conpesated for the time they invest in doing it. What i dont get is how they ask for money for a product that they cant guarantee will work correctly. Surely they should concentrate on perfecting its content i.e not corrupting your save game when using the swap function. If the creators did this i for one would be happy to donate a reasonable sum for their efforts. Perhaps the saying 'cheats never prosper' applies here.

It seems to me so stupid that a cheating software is NOT for free anymore! I guess starting with FM 2013 another software like FMRTE will develop and everyone will use that cause it will be for free. I believe that since people are spending their free time (it is NOT free time anymore) to develop something, it makes sense to sell it (and as it is NOT FREE TIME, it can be considered WORKING TIME)! But I thought that this (FMRTE development) has been happening for FUN! I am really disappointed with this fact (that I have to pay now) and can assure you that I will not use this software again even if it will become free again! Even if no similar software will appear! Although I don't think this is the case and something will be developed next year! As for the latest and payed version of FMRTE I would suggest that next year, if you see people snobbing this software and choose another free one (even if it is worse in all kinds of respect), keep it NOT free, because otherwise it will be extremely humiliating and frustrating to people that already spent their money to buy it!

By all means I regard it's even logical that they want to earn a few euros, FMRTE is a great tool, specially the MiniScout that can be customized to view w/e stats you wish. Not to mention that for years it was free. That said, I guess that for those of us who work 5eu is cheap change, thus I'd be more than happy to 'donate' for the full version. Just enable the GoogleCheckout, it's easy to do, it's safe and it's accessible to everyone. I bet that the number of people who would donate would significantly increase. I'm a living proof for that
I can understand some of the comments about non-credit card holders but I was very happy to donate via paypal. I am not exactly rolling in it but I could afford to donate a few euros and I do not blame them for wanting to earn something for their time, effort and ability.
Why is it free for MAC users but PC user have to pay??
I'd pay for it, but can't use PayPal in Serbia
