The update is save game compatible, there is no updated database and there is no reason to start a new game - both fixes will come into effect in your save game.

since the last patch i have problems with signing coaches, like i got room for 16 and i only have 10 in total. so when i sign one the board refuses because they think i dont need an extra coach.
