SI updated the 8.0.2 patch with the Defoe fix plus a change to the Turkish finances. Direct download link and torrent links have been updated.

What's up with it?
The update includes all of the transfers from the January transfer window and the latest (and hopefully final) patch for Football Manager 2008, Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008 & Futbol Manager 2008.

it should be automatic. its an self extracting"installer".

you just have to download the patch, start it after download is complete.

press 'browse' point out to the map 'sports interactive/football manager 2008/fm.exe'

and then press patch or something, it will take a few minutes then it should be done and then u start the game etc
