hm, a quick question!

When I save the game, I cannot find the edited version, I can only find the back-up.

I saved a game called Arsene, but I can only see Arsene Original. Am I missing something

Search function doesn't work when I search by Potential Ability greater than 190 and only regens. It worked fine in v0.10 with the same save.

italia24: this is a very early beta version, and the only way to speed the process up is to actually help out in bug testing the application. The more information the developer has, the quicker it will be done.

As long as we're still below a 1.0 version, it will not be complete.

In this early stage (0.13) it's not even worth installing if you're not interested in beta testing the application.

Now it loads up for me, just random crashes when opening certain folders, like kits and something else. Will get back.

One question; is it possible to view/edit a club's reputation? I think this influences the odds given ahead of every game, I have tried a little with the OEM editor and if you give a crappy squad a seriously high "reputation" said squad will be favourites against almost any opposition, regardless of the status of the squad.

see the check list - it's a WIP so awards, cities, clubs are savable now. Im doing it incrementally - patience, young skywalker ;) This is hardly an abandoned project :P

well there are places you can monitor where and when im doing stuff but I have been taking it easy over the new year. However, the changes that are FINISHED so far for the next release (0.4) are:

- added competition saving
- added continent saving
- added currency saving
- added injury saving
- added media saving
- added language saving
- added shortlist creation from scout results

(this list will be changed and added to before next release)

There's nothing wrong with asking. But you all are asking the same questions over and over. "Why can't I save?" "What about player saving?" "When is saving gonna work?" "How long until the complete version?"

All that questions is the same to me, and i'm pretty much sure that is the same for Amy or anyone else. The answer for all that question is "We are working on that, please be patient". Aren't you tired of that? 'Cause I am. I'm tired of every day there's somebody asking that question in a way or another, instead of downloading the actual version of the application and testing it, and then posting here some useful information about it so Amy (and the others who are helping her) can speed up a better and more functional version of the application.

stan actually said that a hundred times. But you guys just can't understand that and all you do is ask a question that had already been answered.

I have only had time to try it out a couple of times and I think it feels more stable now - did not crash for me. The functions advertised seems to work too, even though I seldom edit leauges and continents.

I noticed that when you go editing contract details of a staff member, the team status options are the same of players. i.e. - first team, reserve etc.

Should be useful to have specific staff status, i.e. - first team coach, youth coach, physio etc...

Unless you have a method to assign a staffa member to, i.e., goalkeeping coaching by the use of player terms for contract status.

Hope this will help and keep up with the good job. I used the fm09sx too nd think that you've done a great job. Considering you did it in spae time and totally free.

And you're right, she's not interested in what we want, she'll program when she can and wants to, and if you think that's annoying I suggest you head outside for some fresh air.

It takes time and effort (= money) to create the kind of application we have right now. If all you get in return is "it's been ages!" and "she's just annoying us!", then it's not really fun to provide people with stuff for free anymore.

Your parents should have taught you the importance of appreciation.

Hey Jiyefuu, have you actually payed for a product? The answer is no, you haven't paid for anything, have no right to demand anyone updating you, and should frankly be thankful someone even had a go at making something for you. For free.

It is people like you who are the reason stuff like this doesn't get completed. Programmers sit for hours/days/months to create something for free, and all they get in return are ungrateful children being mad that the application isn't made in the time they want it to be done.

So either send the programmer enough money to make it possible for her to take time off work to create this application for your enjoyment, or shut your ungrateful mouth and go complain somewhere else.

If any person starts developing and on Top of all make Big announcements on this Board it is courtesy to update the cummunity regulary even No revision is relaesed which poeple will understand. Other Users are testing, taking also time in responding to support and it should be as much appreciated as we appreciate the volenteer work by the programmer and not making poeple coming back here with no update since MONTH (comment atleast). I am not waiting for this software as there is a way around if you use paralell desktop on your mac but occasionally coming back to read this board with interest hehehehehehe......Have fun guys!

Amy is developing FMSX on her spare time, which has probably run out lately. This means we shouldn't complain about having no new version in a while, though I agree she should post updates once a month at least (twice a month even) regarding her progress if there is any.

Jiyefuu, is a software which you can install on your Mac and run paralell to your apple system windows in a seperate window. But in order to run the game smoothly on paralell (windows) you require a fast processor. Check out www.parallels.com

i'm new here at fmscout and i was wondering if anyone (and it seems like littleblue and stam are the likeliest to know something concrete) has any idea when the new update will drop? i don't wish to get involved in the exchange that seems to have developed; merely trying to get a feel for how the project's coming. thanks a lot for all your work, littleblueand co; godspeed on finishing it! i wish i had any programming skills so i could help but, alas, this layman can do nothing but wait patiently! lz

I installed the latest 10.3 patch, unchecked the compress saved games, saved it again (actually several times to be sure) and then tried to run this updated fm10sx app. Unfortunately, as it goes to load clubs, it shuts the app down. So it doesn’t seem to work for me. Thoughts of other things to try?

From the screenshots I’ve seen, I do have to thank littleblue for creating this. If I can get this to work, it's an absolute lifesaver!!!!!!
