help maintain form

hi im new to tyhis forum but would like to ask u all if u can help. Jst bough the new fm and have playd about 4-5 seasons as man u always strt with thm on a new gam. but every season iv managed to go unbeaten upto christmas but after thn everythin goes wrong and i end up 4th or 5th i can never gety tht lst push tried new players n changin tactics to counter teams but when i do tht i loose worse. can never gewt my team to really push to the end.

cvurrent team playin 4-4-2 asenjo,
brown, vidic, ferdinand, radu
ronaldo, hargreaves, anderson, nani
tevez, rooney

cant get thm to win till the end doin well enough to b offered england jopb though!

so please can u help this ranter. thnx in advance

I,m also new here:)....How about signing a new player??I think you must try to sign a new talented player for your team...I'm giving you adviced to sign Willians Santana from vitoria..I'm sure, he will help your team to win the match and fix your team problem as i'm enjoyed his performance on my team MAN UNITED...You can try to prove it...:wink..

to maintain form you need good morale in the team. a good consistent tactic for each and every player.

a good overall playing system for your team.

oh man..
I always change my formation when away and i have 3 different formations to use on..
for example, when faces roma with 4-2-3-1 formation, i've to use the 3-5-2 formation to make sure that their midfield is outnumbered by me..
then inter and udinese 4-3-3, i always use 5-3-2 formation..to get rid of the wings..

I usually change formation every season because i believe the AI adapt to whatever your've been running and counter you. But hey thats just my belief

thnks all ill take it in to account though i must admit ive also tried signing new players i bought jozy altidore for a bucket load a cash n he didnt improve my fortunes. every1 seems to b sayin usually a big signing makes a diff but ive found if morale isnt tht good n u buy an unknown n matter how good they are then it will do didly 4 ur team.

He becomes a wonderkid and starts scoring 15+ goals from ages 20-21. I got him for my Reading game first season 10mil AUS.

If you want to improve your teams morale quickly, just pick a popular player in the team that has been there 2-3 seasons to be the new captain, if the team likes it, then their morale goes up. Just an idea.

you will also need continual praise, and if losing at half time saying nothing or wheres you passion always does it for me.

and ricorile did you say you are 5 seasons in? not won the prem and your still manager? wow. but ya defense is old, need fresh young blood to challenge for places, if you are struggling play young players instead of some big names, it works for me, e.g. im arsenal and in season 1 and 2 i went through rough patches but took big names out e.g. fabregas, toure, gallas, van persie, adebayor. and played saivet, wijnaldum, ramsey, rodwell etc. got some scrappy
1-0's and some amazing demolitions.

altidore starts well i find best if u put him in and out of the team hell score more tht way but not what u want when u pay alot of money and he gets upset really easily. when not playd

If your team starts to lose form and morale then the best thing to do is have a couple of friendlies if possible with really poor teams.

sometimes play U18s.
