National teams seem to go on some sort of pre arranged idea, for example, I am at Celtic, Mark Wilson plays day in day out has amazing form but never gets selected, he has one cap, which he had before I started

i will never get this national squad selections tbh. in like first 1-2 years in the game its a bit fixed on who will be chosen in the national team squad.

but it seems in the end the more "popular" players will make it into the national team.

It bugs me though, I have had Berra for my Celtic team, played day in day out, got 1 cap which was pre game, never got called up till I got the job and he became an instant fans favorite, but I don't have him on this game, and he is constant national team!!! What the fuck!?!?! Is it because I am so dominant in the Scottish game? Do teams hate me and m squad? Jealousy?

It won't happen unless they get a chance and they do well otherwise bubkiss. Sports interactive should change it so that management is less the same, and more different when picking.

I think that players on form not beign selected for national teams is beacause they aren't in the national pool. I remeber being the national manager of spain on fm07 and loadsa amazing players weren't being selected when i got the job i noticed none of them were in the national pool. I dunno if this still exists on fm09... though i think it does.
