paul jones (gk) is always a good acquisition as is declan rudd (also gk)
moustapha hadji is amazing if you want a good playmaker

I bought Willy Topp(FT) and Neil Mellor(150k), they are both great.
I'm playing with Notts Co, Coca-cola League 2.
Milos Dimitrijevic is one of the best players that I bought, he is MC and onr free transfer.
Florian Boucansaud(DC), Vratislav Gresko (DL),Luka Elsner(DRC)...

John Sutton cost me 40K with Notts County and scored 35 in 43 league games and so far in league 1 he has scored 8 in 15. A must buy had him partnered with Francis Jeffers who scored 25 goals also a great strike duo.

i dnt kno if the low enough or cheap enough(and plus the well known) but Jonjo shelvey and Jemaine Beckford from charlton and leeds from leauge 1 both for around 1.5 mill, they are awesome, shelvey needs time but beckford scored 20 in 18 for my newcastle team
