Log-in problems

Hi,

Recently I have been automatically logged out by the site (as much as 5-10 times a day) even though I always click "remember me".

I think my cookies are in order, but I did notice this happen when I logged in on my other computer, could it be that I can't log in from two computers at the same time?

Just a little inconvenience but would save me like 5 minutes a day



Also get this message after I log in sometimes,

I get the same problem mate, where it never recongnises your login, stam needs to look into this, at it isn't just me, any others with this same problem post on this thread.

Hmm that's odd, well I'm using a Mac running snow leopard, and firefox browser if that counts for anyhting... Will try and post as much relevant info as I can, but I'm not sure how else I can describe this :ave

I took some action in an effort to fix the issue. Please let me know if you are still experiencing any log-in problems.

I did some research on the issue. It seems time was becoming too big and the sum started to overflow. It should be fixed now I hope.

didn't work for me until i deleted all fmscout.com-related cookies.
now it's working again like a charm :)

I had a similar problem and the only fix for me was to delete all cookie relating to the site and then reload the page and log in :con

Thanks for the tip guys, I was getting crazy about it.
The whole issue is a bit out of my league, and I couldn't get someone to help yet.
I did all I know in an effort to at least temporarily fix the problems.

I have removed the "remember me" option from the log-in screen for now. I hope you won't get any more "wrong url" errors, and that your logged in sessions will hold up to 30 minutes of inactivity, before it logs you out.

Added 264 days later:

You should have experienced login issues, due to a change of configuration on a traffic filtering service I've applied to the site yesterday.

I'm hoping this should be the last time you encounter such issue, as I have set the inactivity timeout to 16 hours (in case you had 'keep me signed' option enabled).
