But I think there is so much that can be added to make it more realistic!
Things like:
Being able to choose sponsors, depending on how well you are doing, the bigger or smaller the company, this will also help with finances, so u choose a sponsor that can help you out financially.
Being able to change kit? Like if you play the game for ages but still have the same kits for like 10 years... You could maybe be able to change style and colour of away kits for example.
Stadium Upgrades, i remember i was a team that got promoted up a few divisions, and when it came to upgrading stadium, they only increased my stadium by 1600. You should be able to choose the upgrade size, and how much money you use on it, even if you use more money than u have, u could be able to have ways of making money... just to make it all more realistic.
Clubs go into administration, im not sure that happens so much in the game?
Contract negotiantions, more options, like a car or house etc.
Training is good idea, choose training exercises, and one main thing... to get a weekly training report at least, to see who performs in training.
Got many ideas... but whose to say any will ever get included...

| Tom_BcFC : personally i've always thought about being able to give a substitute motivational words before he comes on, also being able to tell them what you want them to do... |
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure you can do this already? It gives you the options if you go straight to the team talk tab when in a match.

*More immediate information given regarding lower leagues. From a single screen I'd like to be able to see the following:
**What are the rules regarding promotion/relegation, and not just to the next level, but all the way to the top league.
**What, if any, continental and intercontinental competitions are available? Some of the bigger non-European countries have the information available, but not all. For example, I can click through the Brazil leagues and see what competitions you can qualify for. I can't see the same information for my Columbian league, however.
*Tell us why players are ineligible! That way we can either fix the problem (assign them a squad number, for example) or avoid the problem in the future.
*More customization in regards to upgrades. Again, drawing from my experience with Carlos Sarmiento, I'd like the ability to expand my youth facilities by adding at least a reserve team to my main squad. I'm not sure if asking the board to upgrade the youth facilities will achieve this but I'm more interested in first getting a reserve squad and possibly a U20 squad before upgrading the youth academy, for example. Unless my academy is pumping out wonderkids, they're not likely to get playing time as a 15 or 16 y/o on my main squad.
*The suggestion for more sponsorship options sounds like a good one. Maybe tie in performance to payout like when you tell the board about your season's expectations? Loftier promises to sponsors = more money if the goal is met at season's end.
*I'd like to see improvements to the 3D animations as well, but that's far down on my wish list. I still laugh when my keeper dives dramatically to stop a ball that's rolling at a snail's pace toward him and there are no attackers in sight.
