Hello, i'am new to this forum and i'am not that tecnical computer wise.
yesterday i got mig copy of fm10 and installed it via Steam before i made my first game i also made sure that all of the previous updates including the 10,3 was installed, then of course i downloaded and installed genie.
now here is my problem, when i made my first game(and yes it is saved unkompressed) and tryid to load it in genie i got this message: database version: 1404.
as i said at the start, i'am not the best with computers, so turn to you for help. i have tryied to google the problem with out luck. many have database problems, but no one with the 1404.
hope someone can help me...

genie scout is currently compatible with 10.0, 10.1, and 10.2. there will hopefully be a new version released for 10.3. In the meanwhile, if u want to be able to use genie and fmrte, u should uninstall then install fm again using 10.2 update and not 10.3

That won't work, I tried it. The save won't load, it freezes...

First of all "Since RC 2 there is support for compressed save games!!"
Your save freezes cause you started your game with 10.3 patch and now there isn't 10.3 patch on your computer.So you 'll install 10.3 patch and continue your existing save without Genie Scout (i hope that the new, compatible with 10.3, version of GS will be out soon) or you 'll start a new game without 10.3 update but with GS...It's your decision :wink

Apart from making sure your game is not 10.3, make sure you downloaded Genie Scout v1.0 or RC 2, otherwise trying to load a compressed save game with RC 1 will provoke this "freezing" occasion.
Mark: by the time I visit you, you'll be like ancient =PStam: if things go well, I'll still be the same old crazy Stam
