First time poster here. Anyway, I think I messed up.

I started playing with NYRB, won the NACL etc and got offered a job with an Italian Second division team which I took. To get to the point I took my American Assistant Manager to the club with me and he has 0 knowledge of Italian football and I get no "Ask Assistant" option when the Team Instruction screen appears in FM 2010.

The club won't let me release him because of the Fee it would intale. Will he gain knowledge over time or do I have to just let his contract run out?

Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure he was hired as an assistant manager at your new club and not a lower job position?
