Any comments on transfers during the 2011/2012 opinions e.t.c

I would firstly like to comment that I am surprised that Bougherra went to the middle east as he could be at a top club if he had chosen his route more quickly

# Urby1Kinobe2011 : Pantimillion good back up for hart, aguero signing of the century, better than tevez

Signing of the century are you serious?!?!?!? Honestly i gotta say the biggest signing of the century and will always be the biggest signing until someone pays more is Ronaldo's 80million move to Real Madrid. Aguero's a decent player would of rated him about 27million myself but 38m, thats city for you. Now a player i think you should all watch is Charles N'Zogbia hes going to be quality next season for Aston Villa. Wait i just read what you wrote properly and if your saying Agueros better than Tevez please kill yourself now! I hate Tevez since im a Man utd fan but no way is aguero better than him.

Hmm I don't know. I have heard Agüero is a real Beast of a striker and definitely worth the 40 million, but I have never really seen him play myself.. I guess this season will tell if he was worth the money, however, I do think he at least possesses the potential to exceed Tevez who does not seem to feel at home at City atm.

But maybe City played a bit too much FM11 where Aguero is probably the best striker in-game and overestimated his abilities :p

Aguero may be another Dzeko I mean the premier league is hard, and in comparison to the LIGGA BRIVA the defenses are far better, Aguero may be a good signing but I just can't see him being too good too soon. Aguero was one of my fav players and he will become a great player in the prem, but time will tell if he is signing of the century. As currently Ronaldo is perhaps the best Buy considering his goals to games ratio and importance.

You see were joking about city playing too much fm11 and judging aguero highly but most people who say hes amazing are judging him off fm11 and fifa 11 only, not his real life abilities. I told my mate the other day i have seen aguero play a few times on tv and hes always looked your average player never seen him do anything suggesting hes as good as the likes of tevez, rooney etc.

Aguero - Signing of the century? In my opinion, what judges a good signing depends on what you spend for a player and how well he performs. Throwing money at somebody and assuming that they will play well is a ridiculous base to judge on a great signing. Of course, he's an outstanding player, however he's come from a league where the football played is lower tempo and much more technically skilled based, whereas the Premier League is very physical and demanding. It's those players that can thrive in both of those areas that do the best in the Premier League, as we've seen from Ronaldo and a few others. I will be exciting to see how he fares though.

Sorry that was a little off-topic :P
Back to transfers - Sneijder would be an excellent signing for United, providing he does actually go there and not to Manchester City where he probably won't fit into their style of play.

I've never actually heard of Pantimillion, I think he's a bit of an unknown to English football fans but if City deem him good enough to be a 2nd choice Premier League keeper then good for him.

I'm happy with Derby's signings so far :) Still waiting for that promised Premier League class big name signing though.

To be honest, for me, the signing of the century is Zidane's move from Juve to Real Madrid. About Aguero, I agree that he is overrated in FM, but I still think he is a quality player, however, Tevez being in the first eleven and him a substitute for the Argentinian side makes me think that atm Tevez is better :D. I just can't stop admiring his work rate and devotion, but will remain to see how he does this season.

Pantilimon has the quality, he just lacks some good guiding from a good goalkeeping coach, I think he will do well at City.

Also I agree about N'Zogbia.

Man Utd seem to have strengthened a lot for a team that won the League, so it's clearly that they want Champions League this season, and if they manage to get Sneijder, oh boy...

You cant tell how well a player does in the premier league until theyve played a couple of seasons. Berbatov was the last striker that seemed to walk into the league and know how to play in it. Aguero may do well or he may not we just wont know for a while.
The signing of the last 20 years was anelka to arsenal for 750K he helped win the league and fa cup, was sold for £23 million so we bought (at the time) the best training ground in the world and thierry henry. Brilliant transfer business
