FM12 Keeps crashing on Loading screen

Just downloaded through Steam. Everything gone well etc. But when i load it up, and its on the page where it says 'Loading' in all the different languages it just decides to close and goes straight to the desktop. Any help anyone???

Can you delete your cache please.
Make sure FM or Steam is closed when doing so, then try again.

How do I delete my Cache files - Mac

- Go to Finder
- Go to Macintosh HD
- Go to Users
- Go to your home (Shape of a house) folder
- Go to Library
- Go to Caches
- Go to Sports Interactive
- Go to Football Manager 2012
- Delete all contents in this folder.

How do I delete my Cache files - Windows

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

XP:
My Computer
'Tools'
'Folder Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
My Computer
'Organize'
'Folder and Search Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Once this is done, follow the instructions below:

Windows XP:
1. Open “My Computer”
2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\
3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder.
4. Go to the “Football Manager 2012” Folder.
5. Delete the 'cache' Folder found inside here.

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
1. Click “Start”
2. Click your username on the start Menu
3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming”
4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder
5. Go to the “Football Manager 2012” Folder.
6. Delete the 'cache' Folder found inside here.

Now try launching FM12 again.

I have cleared the caches and it is still doing the same error...

hi i have tried both the above steps and even deleted local content and reinstalled it but it is stll not loading its strange it was working an hour ago

edit: had to remove all trace of fm on my laptop then restart and reinstall . did the job as to why it did it i have no idea :-\


second edit: closed and reopened game decided to start closing again so i just restarted laptop and then it worked, does anyone have any idea whats causing this ? possibly a skin or graphics pack ? i would assume its the skin as its deciding to close right before the main menu
