hi,

for some strange reason my game keeps crashing on a certain date. ( 11th May 2012 ) i dont know what to do and its driving me crazy!!!

so if you have any ideas please say....

i dont know tbh.

have u installed the new patch? it usually helps installing the newest patch and loading the game with it.

no i still have 8.00. but if i install the newest patch would i have to start all over again or would i be able to carry on the game that i am playing with 8.00???

oh and by the way the holiday thing didnt work.

you can always load ur old games with the new patches. :) so install the new patch and load the game and hopefully u will go past 11th may

I had exactly the same problem in FM 2006. The only way it worked for me was if I installed it on a different computer.

Try reinstalling the game, or copy your save game, paste on your friends computer, pass 11th May, save the game, copy it back on your computer and play on.

do as nuno says.

try to open that game on another pc, if it works then u might want to uninstall FM and remove everything, and then re install it.

hey, i gave up ages ago and i just simpy uninstalled the entire game.. i then reinstalled it.. everything was fine.. but then exacly the same issue occured on the 18th june 2008 this time....

any ideas??

I've just had the same problem. It does it to me in the middle of a match in may 2010. I'll try what you guys have said and see if it helps.

I had the same, I tried everything, I had the latest patches, tried going on holiday, tried reinstall, the lot. In the end completely deleted and started afresh, was really p****d off, never had it before. Hopefully at the moment it is working fine, but am only 4mths into season. scfc72
