Region Availability - Countries:
Unfortunately, we cannot distribute Football Manager 2012 in Germany, North/South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China due to licensing issues.
You will not be able to find a boxed copy of Football Manager 2012 in German shops or buy the game from digital distribution retailers operating in Germany, including Steam.
However, if you live in one of these countries and would like to play this game, you can activate a boxed copy of the game (purchased from another country; e.g. UK) and play the game on Steam.

I purchased the game about 2 hours ago but have received no confirmation e-mail and no code. I'm living in South Korea at the moment. Could this be my problem?

After plenty of hunting around I now see that it isn't available to south korea. Great.
Might be worth changing your original post to say this.

Andy, the countries with the problem are fully listed on our Football Manager 2012 product page. This topic was created the day after release and was directly copied from Sports Interactive support forums at that time.
I apologize for not taking the time to update this topic until now. The truth is I haven't updated much lately because I'm really busy upgrading the site to its new version, and sadly there's a limited amount of tasks I can keep track of at a time.

Fair enough. I'm just confused that it let's me pay my money knowing that I'm in South Korea.
Also, I see the countries are fully listed on the product page, just well below the download/buy button.

I'm not sure if you received an activation code or if you had your order cancelled/refunded before even receiving a code. If you did receive a code, you could say it allows the possibility of buying it as a gift for a friend (in another country).

#35006 andymaw : I'm just confused that it let's me pay my money knowing that I'm in South Korea.I had the same concern, and contacted the distribution team about this before (since they control the store's back-end). They're utilizing the same functionality to server thousands of digital sales per day (not just FM and of course not just FM Scout), so I suppose it's easier for them to waste 'support' hours instead of tweaking their system.
