This is my Man Utd story, from scratch, with my results and advice.
Any advice from readers would we welcome.

I am currently scouting the following players:

Eden Hazard (AM/CM)
Mario Gotze (AM)

Both young, hot prospects for the future. Showing good stats on pace, passing, and they look to be great players - but because of this they wont come cheap. Need one of these players though as Man Utd lack creativity in midfield

Edinson Cavani (CF)

Phenomenal striker and may provide a great partner to Rooney. Rooney needs a full time partner, ad neither Berbatov or Hernandez will do. Chicharito is great, but in my opinion needs some developing. Cavani can partner Rooney as well as take his place should Rooney get injured

Lucas Moura (AML)
Gareth Bale (LM)

Both are potential replacements for Giggs. Bale will not be cheap, nor will Lucas. However a suitable replacement is needed, and both players are young.

Kara (DM)

Carrick isn't up to scratch, and this youngster looks very promising. He can play as a CM, DM and even as a centre back

Felipe Anderson (CM)

A young prospect, who is a cheap, yet incredible midfielder. Will provide the creativity which we are much in need off

Defensively i think Man Utd are covered, as well as in terms of goalkeepers, though if i have the money i may put in a bid for a young keeper named Marc-Andre ter Stegen. He looks very good and much better than Lindegaard.

After having a very productive transfer window, i think im set for the next 2 seasons at least, and aim to win the treble (that being the premier league, the champions league and the FA cup).

Generally i will ply a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1

For the 4-4-2 the player roles will be set as follows:

GK (Defend)

WB (Auto) CD (Defend) CD (Defend) WB (Auto)

WM (Attack) AP (Attack) CM/BWM (Auto) WM (Attack)

AF )Attack) CF (Attack)

If i dont specify a change, this is how my team will be set up. Be warned if you select 4-4-2 from the formations drop-down menu, there will be some changes (like the wide defenders will be set as FB rather than WB).

Training

To maximise the gain i get from players with the formations i use, i use the following position training regimes so that players are more suited to playing in that position:

Hazard - CM
Gotze - LM

Also i put Asamoah on a regime to improve his tackling. Once it is around 17, i can set him to a BWM, thus ensuring the opposition wont be able to retain possession for long

Story's title changed to avoid any conflicts.

By the way, it will be interesting to see how the club's finances get after 2-3 seasons, given that you chose to spend a lot of money on transfers in due time. How is your balance now?

Mark: by the time I visit you, you'll be like ancient =P
Stam: if things go well, I'll still be the same old crazy Stam
Mark: as in crazy inventive energetic or as in crazy senile and forgetful?
Stam: wtf mate, are you planning to visit me when you'll be 70? lol

I spent a lot, but felt it was necessary. Should be set for a while now, especially with all the young talent i have now procured!

In terms of balance, what do you mean? Under the finance, it says my balance is £144,344,280
