Southampton

Media Prediction: 7th

Board Target: Top Half Finish

Transfer Budget: 5M

My Target: Play Offs

I wanna get in the Play offs this season to have a chance of getting promoted. If not this season, for sure next season.

I have all ready played some games and purchased players and I'm enjoying it.

Hope everyone enjoys reading.

Transfers

I have all ready purchased the players so I won't be showing screenshots of them. Just a brief description.

Andros Towsend - ML Loan(From Tottenham) - I need a ML and Towsend looked like a very good player.

Florent Cuvelier - CM Loan(From Stoke) - Lacking in CM's so he might just be a sub.

Jamil Adam - ST Free - This player is supposed to be a goalscorer, but I have only seen him used for league 1 and lower teams, will he be good enough for the championship?

Scott Loach - GK 2.5M(From Watford) - Will be my main goalkeeper.

James Beattie - ST Free - Just hoping he does well, only signed him on a free so what can go wrong?

Jordi Gomez - CM 1.8M(From Wigan) - Looked amazing for a Championship team, and fairly cheap too.

I am very happy with my signings and I have a bit left too if I needed to strengthen again.

August Update

Nottm Forest (A) 3-1 L
Cheltenham (H) 3-0 W (League Cup)
Portsmouth (H) 1-0 W (Uh oh, Pompey and Southampton, no violence will happen!)
Barnsley (A) 2-0 L
Reading (H) 2-1 W
QPR (H) 0-4 L (League Cup)
Blackpool (A) 1-1 D

Best Player: Townsend - With an average rating of 7.18, scoring 2 goals, made 3 completed crosses and had 70% pass completion he has been my best player so far.

Not a bad start to the season. Would of liked to get a bit further in the league cup.

September Update

Crystal Palace (H) 0-0 D
Leicester (A) 1-1 D
West Ham (H) 1-1 D
Brighton (H) 2-0 W

Best Player: Danny Butterfield - My supposed to be sub RB has now established him self as part of the first-team. Very impressed.

James Beattie has been injured for 4-5 months. Oh well, I have enough cover for him.

November Update

Doncaster (H) 2-0 W
Millwall (H) 2-0 w
Leeds (A) 2-2 D
Coventry (A) 0-2 W
Cardiff (H) 1-1 D

Best Player: Rickie Lambert - He wasn't doing very well but recently he has been scoring more goals and getting a higher rating. But, he is now injured for 2-3 weeks.

I noticed my team was losing in my away games so I changed my formation for them. Instead I used 4-3-3 instead and it seemed to have work. Drawing to Leeds and winning against Coventry were good results.
Lambert is injured but Beattie should be back soon.

December Update

Peterborough (A) 0-0 D
Ipswich (H) 5-3 W
Watford (A) 4-2 L
Middlesbrough (H) 0-4 L
Nottm Forest (H) 0-0 D

Best Player: Hooiveld - A loaned player from Celtic. He has probably been my best CB all season but he has returned to Celtic now. He made a difference and the defence will be weaker without him.

Some poor results recently, my away tactic 4-3-3 could not be played at Watford because of stikers being injured so I played 4-4-2 and it did not go well.

I just get bored.

With Eastbourne I got promoted but, then couldn't be bothered for the higher league.
Dortmund was OK I just got bored of them in general. Maybe I should of made more signings or something like that?
Them Vittese, yeah I admit I gave up but, I messed it all up in a way. Should of tryed it before trying to be them properly.
Man Utd were kinda boring but I wish I played with longer now.
And now southampton I don't really know why.

Any tips for keeping yourself interested?
