Awesome so far. For a team that was expected to finish 7th, you are getting some admirable results. Good luck on your NACL campaign!

By the way, could you post a screenshot of Hercules Gomez? He seems to come up with the goals when Peralta fails.

Thanks! I am surprised with some results but I am disappointed with others. I hope I can do well in the NACL- I have set myself a target that I will win the Club World Championship with Santos Laguna in this save so I will have to win the NACL if I am to do that. I will post a screenshot of Gomez.

    Player Review- Herculez Gomez

Herculez Gomez is a striker and is currently an important first team player for Santos Laguna. He is one of the 5 foreign players allowed in the squad. So far this season, Gomez has scored 2 goals in 2 appearances, he has one Man of the Match and has an average match rating of 8.80. Overall, Gomez is a great striker who should be valued a lot more than £725k.

    Santos Laguna 3-1 Cruz Azul

Line Up:(3-2-1-1-3) Oswaldo Sanchez, Jorge Ivan Estrada, Aaron Galindo, Felipe Baloy, Rodolfo Salinas, Carlos Adrian Morales, Xavier Baez, Daniel Ludeuna, Herculez Gomez, Oribe Peralta, Darwin Quintero.

Subs Used: Christian Suarez, Cesar Ibanez.

Scorers: Daniel Ludeuna, Herculez Gomez, Oribe Peralta.

Man of the Match: Jose de Jesus Corona (Cruz Azul)

Santos Laguna beat 3rd favourites for the league Cruz Azul in a thrilling 3-1 victory. If it were not for Jose de Jesus Corona- the Cruz Azul goalkeeper- it could have been 10-1. A fiery front 3 of Gomez, Peralta and Quintero looked unstoppable. It looks like Santos Laguna could be the dark horses of the as they coast onto a 3rd unbeaten game- leaping up to 4th, only behind Morelia in 1st, Cruz Azul in 2nd and Pumas in 3rd. Cruz Azul and Pumas have played one more than Laguna.

    San Luis 4-3 Santos Laguna

Line Up:(3-2-1-1-3) Oswaldo Sanchez, Jorge Ivan Estrada, Aaron Galindo, Felipe Baloy, Rodolfo Salinas, Carlos Adrian Morales, Xavier Baez, Daniel Ludeuna, Herculez Gomez, Oribe Peralta, Darwin Quintero.

Subs Used: Jaime Toledo, Cesar Ibanez, Carlos Ochoa.

Scorers: Darwin Quintero, Carlos Adrian Morales, O.G.

Man of the Match: Alfredo Moreno (San Luis)

Injured: Herculez Gomez (7 to 10 days)

Santos Laguna's unbeaten run came to an end after an exciting game against a great San Luis side. A late 90+1 minute goal cost Laguna a draw but they were never in the lead so did not deserve a win. They are now 8th in the league but have a game in hand over most teams ahead of them.
