It should officially be out on thursday.

You will need to activate your game when you get it.

CAUTION: Be careful on which computer u install and activate it on. Because from what i heard from SI you wont be able to play the game on other computers once activated on 1. BUT the good news is that if you activate it through STEAM. then you can log into your steam account anywhere in the world and play through there.

More info will come as soon as i get my FM copy.

my brother bought it today, but his key code doesnt work, is that because th eofficial release date in Australia is tomorrow (the 14th)?

It is okay with me, as I only have 1/2 of my P.C's with a working c.d drive. But I will get it next month as I am a bit skint.

I am thinking of buying it on amazon but after reading reviews and comments from the people who already bought it i am pondering whether it's worthwhile buying it since all reviews are so negative.. :(

Regarding activation problems, on the official FM website, they have posted this:

If you are having trouble deciphering some characters in the license key on your Football Manager 2009 packaging.

Characters O and 0 as well I and 1 are printed in a very similar manner.

To help with this please refer to the following link:

http://keylookup.fm2009.softanchorinsight.com/

Enter your key at the link and the system will determine if you have made a mistake and display the correct key.

There is no difference between the 0 and the o :dozingoff
My code had something that looked like 900 but it was 9o0 which is impossible to see :ave:(
but it's worling now thanks to Stam for the site:yes:wink

hi guys new to this. i've been having trouble all day, ive loaded fm 2009 on steam and gone to launch have entered the correct code but it says it cannot connect me to the internet and gives me a link to sigames.com but of course that site has crashed, any help would be very much appreciated.
