Genie Scout 2009 has been released

Right, need some instructions!

I've never used genie scout before, so i thought I'd download it and give it a shot. Only problem is that I'm not to sure how to get it all started. I get the main window open, but when i try to load my game on it, it won't do it.

Well I have always used genie yet i cannot get this one to work....i made sure i changed the settings so that my game is not compressing and i tried to load it but it doesn't pen...the only thing i am not sure f is wether this version of genie is for 9.0 or 9.1 of fm

i heard u need the new 3.5 framework to get it working, i havent got it yet so im not sure the site is dead for me so hopefully back up soon !!!1



just downloaded it from this site and tried it out and it doesnt give any sale values and doesnt show any potential ratings only positional ratings which doesnt really help too much in finding stars, so the people who cant use it aint missing too much

nah but i have never used too much of genie scout. I checked it out and i really hate these new shitty designs that come from "win vista". i like the old school designs which are simple and easy to look at.

But about the program its alrite i guess. He has taken away some features because he wants money for it for some stupid reason.

But its nothing special at all other than that. i only use this program when im with a sunday league team and really dont have much of a choice.

genie never made my game more interesting though. So im gonna avoid it this time as well.
Its more fun using the scouts for finding players and such things.

does anyone knows how i can see how the players evolve? like in genie scout 2008 ... to see how good a player can be?

so whats with the features, are they missing cause its an "early" version or do we have to pay for them?

to be fair to the guy he has put a lot of hard work onto it. i know the original code was written for him but he has enhanced it. i don't know if he should demand we pay but saying that he has given us a lot of features for free (not the ones we need) so asking for an extra £5 or however much it is shouldn't hurt the pocket too much.

I dont know what it gives you guys. But it takes everything away from a game if u can see how a youngster will be when reached his PA.

and the full version will most probably be leaked from someone anyways.

To be perfectly honest, I think we can all understand why he wants $$$, people are just gutted they have to cheat now, I'm not going to lie, I've used this program in 08 to see how good the youth I signed were.

If you want it that bad, wait a few days and I'm sure a rapidshare link will mysticly appear from somewhere ;).

I think "Ingame" from Immuner has the potential to replace FM Scout 2009.

Also, if any of these Scout programs aren't working for you, the issue is with the Framework. Up date to version 3.5 and all should be sorted.

You have to pay for a premium version which includes all of the "Cheating Features"

While I'm on about it, why the hell is he trying to make his utilty seem like a legitmate way to "enchance" or "deepen" your FM experiance, FMGenie was, is and always will be a cheat in one form or another, just now it's a lousey excuse for a cheat, the least he could do it demand $5, not like it cost him anything to make (probably).

FMGenie was so popular tool over the past few years,so i'm not really suprised that it's not free anymore...anyways...my opinion is that nothing can be protected or hidden on the internet,and someone will buy it and share it...it's just a matter of time ...i'm not an expert but maybe a cracked version will come up...too early to say ...untill then positional rating is our only giude ..oh...and by the way...how come edwin van der sar is the best player in the world in his role?
