highguyuk i personally dislike editing. this is a scout, but too many people have asked. i have decided to add that, but it can be only enabled through the preferences and by default it will be off. so it will remain a scout, unless someone wants too.
but your idea isnt bad. I could have a version with editing completely disabled and another one where you have it enabled. hmmm maybe :)....
maybe i will keep it as it is...er i dunno....maybe too late for decisions which will change the history of mankind :):):)

hahah, i respect ur decision for not making an editor. Because i already find using these kinds of utilities to be as cheating. The only that isnt cheating is that you have a look at your team and your youngsters etc etc.

never the less i just tested this and i find it quite good. So keep up the good work :)

How easy would it be to add a button that makes all players in the database an EU national, rather than having to edit manually ?

Please don't turn this into a discussion about whether it is cheating or not - we all have differing opinions. Personally, I get great satisfaction from building a team of 19 year olds from South America, Asia , Africa and Europe etc...then watch them develop through the English leagues starting from Coca Cola 2.

Stafford Rangers for me. Year 2030. Won so so much with them. It's how I always play the game. SRFC already up a division. lol.

Another suggestion from me btw. The scout loads with the PA/CA as 100 - 200. Can this be changed to 0 - 200. I have to change it every time as none of my team fit into 100 - 200. lol.

I've got a problem with Ingame FMScout09, I have exactly the same problem with FMAgent as well. I search for players and save them to a shortlist, then I load the shortlist in FM '09, and NONE of the players show up at all. How come? I only could get it to work with FMGenieScout, but infinite loading crashes prevent me from using it beyond ingame year of 2009.

I have a problem with Version 1 ... it's not filtering by CA/Pa.

EDIT: It's not filtering by anything. Age, CA, PA, Sale Value etc - only position.

Yes this is a bug sorry totally my fault. It doesnt filter by CA/PA/Age/Value/Sale Value and player attributes. It's a piece of code i forgot to uncomment. Use v0.99 until v1.1 is out.
I have made some changes to the shortlist for v1.1 (as well as export to csv, txt and import by csv) but ive noticed that some people cant get their regens show up in the shortlist in the game.
Unfortunately, ive been too busy working on this that i havent managed to play the game yet :(.
One way you could help me out, is sending me a saved game and a shortlist you generate and tell me which player to look for. Maybe this will solve this.

Avfc its a bit of work, but i am not sure if i have time to do that for this release. I'll try though :).

I struggle with staff not showing up in the game, but they are on the Scout. Weird!

I just thought I'd say that this is a great tool, and your work is much appreciated. It must be annoying fixing one bug to find a few more - but it IS appreciated.

i have the same probem with the staff some of them arent in the game and al of the staff roll in the scout is asistant manager and gk coach
and regens cant be seen in the game

the showing staff issue was fixed on v1.0 i think but this has a bug with the players. new version will show staff as v1.0 properly

EDIT: If anyone is willing to translate the scout to different languages for v1.2 send me an email. It will already be translated onto italian. I can do greek myself, but i would prefer if someone else would do it, that's fine.

EDIT again as i can't double post:
Test version is out! Play with it and let me know.

the new version looks good, but didnt work for me. the miniscout works for some reason. but not the full one. i have framenetwork 3-5 etc as well.

is it just me?

am using windows vista.
