for me it was a player who had a cruciate ligament injury, out for 12 months

for me, broken foot, ankle and hip injury..

bought Owen for 4 mil, 1st game after 21 mins broken leg and out for 8 months
gutted.Carried on for the first few games of the season and ended up with 7 players on the injury table (Ireland, Richards, SWP, Fernandes, Robinho, Khirzov, Hart) all between 1 month and 6 months - i have to admit I gave up after that

if your getting constant injuries to your players. then make sure you have a good training schedule for all the players.
make sure you give them a bit of rest(not too much rest).
and at times u can just be unlucky by having lots of injury prone players.
