im starting a new game as arsenal and i want too know a killer tactic and some good players too bring in any help would be appreciated x

The standard tactic on the game "4-4-2 Standard" is quite a good starting point for a tactic. You'll need to make some changes to it to complement your team and you'll probably enjoy the game more if you do it this way. But if you really want a so called killer tactic search the forums on this site for "killer tatctic" a couple of people have uploaded tactics which other people on this site seem to rate quite highly.

In terms of players Arsenal lack a really quality DM. I'd recommend Senna from Villarreal although for his age he is quite expensive but he is a quality player. If you'r more interested in youth you could go for Francesco Bolzoni in the Inter reserves he'll be a real quality player in a few years.

You also need a right winger i'd recomend Darijo Srna from Shakhtar yours for about £16 Million.

Buy yaya toure for however much you can, th only position other that that you need to strengthen are maybe a good back up center back and maybe a new keeper.

Andre Bikey is good as backup and lloris if you can get him.

Just remembered that in terms of a DM Miguel Veloso from Sporting Lisbon is a very good player. In fact i'd recomend him over Senna and Bolzoni :blush. He'll cost £11 Million.

have a defensve and an offensive midfielder, full backs very attacking (clichy and sagna are best in game in my opinion)

I wouldn't agree with that. The players you mentioned are all goood signings but you advised him to sell Arsenal's two good keepers and replace them with one, who is not any better than the vastly more experienced Almunia. Silvestre is a far more accomplished player than howedes who will be a good player but is not one yet. Balotelli is a similar player to Adebayor but knowhere near as good why would he sell his best striker? and he can't sell Eduardo he has a long term injury aswell as being far better that Saivet who is knowhere near ready to be a regular starter or even a regular sub. All good signings but should not be signed to replace anyone except Asenjo who could replace Fabianski.

well its what i have done in my game and i won the prem and champ league in 2 seasons. all the players that i mentioned to sell are bad players in my game.

someone here posted a good tactic...it's called Newcastle (or something like that)...worked perfectly for me...oh,and don't sell Adebayor,he's a top class and you won't find anything near him in your early game

that is a good point. i have been humiliated. Yes lloriss is hard to sign but well worth it if you can, and if you cant get him and yaya get asenjo and veloso. You dont NEED a new keeper- but it is usefull. Keep ade-he is great in the game even if he is terrible at the mo in real life. I love the new skin btw.

aguero? maybe in fm 08, not in fm 09 though, he is horrendous in 09

aderbayor was poor for me, so i sold him. Senna is a good buy for centre midfield with fabregas, good tackler and free kicks are good aswell.
