I didnt watch the match instead i had sky sports news on. I turned it off after 75 minutes fearing a three match losing streak and just some minor trophies to add to Sir Alex's collection. But who knows now, that comeback really could fire them up again.

I was shocked...in a good way and what a moment for the 17 yr old....the stuff dreams are made of eh.....what a goal....but how about ronaldo i think this is the first time he makes himself count this season...he stepped up when we needed him with two great finishes especially the second one out of nothing....okay its true he was invisible for most of the game....he only appeared when we went down(if i recall correctly ppl think he fades away when the going gets tough but he proved em wrong today) but he is class.....
lets hope we see more of macheda....he has had a terrific record in the reserves....i just hope that we don't end up letting him go like we did with rossi....
i heard he will be on the bench for porto game...

actually ronaldo has broken the 20+ goal mark. he has been there for the team, he has been good.

he just hasnt been as GREAT as last season, but last season was magical for him and the team. the team played a bit better as well. we had another rhythm going.

I think ronaldos drop in form is good for the team, as it means when he eventualy does leave sometime in the future the team will not rely on ronaldo to be there. But Man United are looking promising for the future.

I read somewhere online that Real are ready to offer 100m for him. I mean i think hes a world class player, but when someone comes in with bids like that it would be foolish to reject it. Im sure players like aguero would be available for alot less, and would more than likely want to come. That said i still dont want to see him leave.

Exactly for example ronaldo himself will have not been as good as would have been if he hadn't gone to united before he peaked too early. The money we would get from the sale of ronaldo could get us 3-4 possible future world class players.

No player in the world is £100 million good, but if I was Fergie and that money was tabled I would snap it up in seconds.

There wont be a player quite like Ronaldo for a while, but you could easily find a replacement of Uniteds standards for half the price, and use the rest to plug the eventual gaps of Giggs and Scholes and invest in more youth.

Im a Liverpool fan, now our youth team has won the FA Youth Cup twice in the last three years, but we dont seem to be investing in players from the earliest ages. United (amongst others) seem to churn out these little bits of pure gold players every few years.

Last good thing we produces was the good lord stevie g :ave (who debuted in the first team as a left back, just a little nugget of info there...) and nothing much of note since. Very envious. Lets just hope that N'gog suddenly goes on some rediculous goal spree.....:con

Lol (he is even worse than Voronin was), but yeah I mean the youths in todays prem teams make up for about 10% of the team when they are older roughly so you need gems like stevie G (how can he play first team LB? as a right footed-player) to bolster your team with that loyalty that sets an example to others.

Meh, N'gog is alright, he's been very highly touted, he's played alright this season, he's just not played a lot, he wont really get much chance with the system we play - lone striker with stevie supporting. If nothing else, in my second FM season he became a wonderkid for me, was top scorer over Torres, so he must be alright I guess.....

Oh, and you dont have to be left footed to play LB, but it is a pretty standard requirement. On his debut he was put there because of an injury, only played 20mins or so, but he did really well, very surprising considering he was that far out of position.

Everton have a pretty good system, and theyve managed to keep some of their youth. Theyve got Gosling, Vaughan and Rodwell amongst others, and players like Hibbert came through the youth system and has never left. You have to admire a club that can bring these players to the fore and keep them happy there.

wow, Macheda has got the winner again!
Another future star in the making perhaps=D
2-1 to United. Chelsea won 4-3 to Bolton as Bolton scored 3 times in 8 minutes but it wasn't enough. Liverpool bounced back well against Blackburn with a 4-0 win with Torres getting two. It's gonna be real close as it will probably come down to the wire.

It looks like he meant to do it to me, but its so dubious that only he knows haha. Im sure he'll claim it anyway, true strikers instinct ;)
