FM problem :(

basically fm wont start up at all i double click the short cut to run and it comes up the program is not responding then close program etc, cant un install it my cousin has the disk, any suggestions ?

well un-installing and installing again will most probably be helpful.

the problem your suggesting is hard to solve when your not infront of the pc yourself.

maybe someone else has a solution, but i think the best way to do is to re-install.

go to the shortcut, and look at the target. at the end of the quotes put a space and then

--reset_preferences

it usually works

oh yeh, oh i hate this vista. thing is your goin through the "start-->games" shortcut. not the usual shortcut.
(as i have my windows in swedish this might differ in translation) :
never the less, what you need to do is, right click on the icon, choose "adjust" the 2nd last option, you will get a window with a few options:

the first option it says: "launch", choose that and press the button "edit".

then you will be able to edit :)

i hope you get it. or do i need to take screenshots? =P

oh btw you come to this by going to the start menu then the map called games.
