I know this is early but what are peoples' thoughts on features they want on FM11?

i have a few features that I would like in the new FM11 (i might be mistaken and some of the listed features maybe already on fm10 =)

3D match engine:
add more character animations

fix problem where the players overlap (e.g. when exiting the stadium)

more viewing angles (e.g. an option to see the whole stadium cause currently at a big stadium like wembley, I cant see whether the seats at top level are filled)

Staff:
allow either to view coaching star ratings in the attribute screen or the ability to scout coaches in order to view their star ratings

allow scouting of coaches to see their potential

Editor:
make simple one-click option of adding lower leagues

Transfer:
make it easier for lower league teams to sign youth from higher leagues who does not have a chance of being promoted into the reserves (e.g. currently they seem to want to rather be released than sign for a first team or key player duty)

Facilities:
show the date of when the training facility will be completed like it does for stadium expansion (currently it only says that it will take a short time to upgrade)

ability to recommend how much to upgrade the training facilities (e.g greatly improve = spend more money on upgrade)

ability to choose specific pitch dimensions rather than choosing min, max, narrow, etc.

ability to switch between grass and synthetic pitch if club doesn't have the finance for ground maintenance

Sponsorship:
ability to recommend short term but slightly cheaper or long term but slightly more generous sponsorship (depending on whether u feel confident of bring the club stature up. if u think u can do wonders for the club than opting for a short term sponsorship so that u can negotiate for a better one in a year or two)

What do you guys think?

i've said it before and i'll say it again.. i want tricks and flicks animation like zidane turn and ronaldo's 'chop'..

tricks are so important in modern football.. how can they not consider including them..

i hope they add that in fm11 cause the game does have "tries tricks" and "uses outside of foot" in PPM which means that the players are performing tricks. it's just not showing in 3D match engines.

redeigning from scratch the youth system.right now it sucks, i want to see age groups playing in their specific age group championship like it is in real life.i know that talented players appear at random in the real world, but i have managedman utd and ajax amsterdam(two clubs with 5 star youth setup in real life) several seasons and i didnt got not one talented player, in almost 10 years spend in total at both clubs.

since when do they have 'tries tricks' in fm10? but i've been longing for that since fm09, so pretty disappointed with SI.. just look at the 2 world's best players at the moment.. ronaldo n messi.. flair players

and also, i agree.. manutd does not produce any player with potential above 160 for mine.. how shit is that!!?

When u look at preferred moves for c.ronaldo and frank ribery either using genie scout or fmrte, they have "tries tricks". but it seems to be hidden when viewed in fm10. but I agree that it seems to do nothing to their playing styles in fm10 and players like messi lack this PPM.

it's just annoying that none of the 80%+ potential rating regens come from high-rep and high-youth training facility team.

it does seem that the youth setup is not used, no point wasting money uprgrading it when a club

i would like to see coach training implemented, like with players learning new roles, coaches learning new coaching areas.

but the youth system is the key area for improvement, are you listening SI?

my god its too early to talk fm 2011.

but i know what i want. i want the new tactics system mixed with the old one where you could choose mentality overall for your team and such.

also i would want the old ARROWS BACK!

btw how is trying tricks any part of modern football?
dribbling is what you guys are on about.

I want the old arrows back as well..

Also:

better 3D in general but with option for 2D too

I would like more options in press confrences so you can add personality into t, without it being tedious

Manager transfer tendancies more exact

Board takeovers / matters more exact on, e.g. details sort of

for it to show, if they work well together in training or something?

well maybe part of 'modern football' may not be the exact words.. perhaps 'in trend'??
coz popular players within this decade like ronaldinho, ronaldo, messi, aguero tends to do tricks..

also, hot prospects touted as new world's best players are also the ones that are able to do tricks and they go "wow, he's going to be the new messi" n shit like that.

well there are people who can do better tricks than ronaldo and ronaldinho. but that doesnt make them great footballers.

the likes you see at the top level are great footballers. they can play FOOTBALL, doing tricks is just an extra thing they can do. they rarely do tricks in a match, you kinda never see them actually do a trick. in friendlies you might. but in proper matches they dont.

dribbling is what these players specialise on. great technique and dribbling. hope that sums up what im arguing about here.

yh watching tricks is great, doesnt even have to be related to a sport, we all love watching tricks. :)

but if you watch football just waiting for someone to maybe do a trick, then your not watching football for football if you know what i mean.
