annoying goalkeepers

hi i manage manutd.. the thing is that i always get opposition keepers that perform fantastic saves that get their rating up to 7 or 8!!! that pisses me off so much! why doesn't my keeper perform every match while almost 90% of opposition keepers do that? most of my draws are caused by those.

two reasons i can think:

a) your team has a very good defence abilities that dont allow the oppositions strikers to get close to ur keeper

b) your strikers are very deadly in front as the make a lot of opportunities to score... the 7 or 8 of the opposition keepers is because your strikers are missing most of their chances that are creating.

well, i agree with you, but those keepers are having 'fantastic reflex saves' like what oliver kahn would do in his prime.. it's just annoying to allow those guys to have Man of match instead of my players.

my strikers are still scoring, but they could've scored 4 or 5..

when you score 3 goals or more it's quite hard for the opposition keeper to have a rating of 7 or higher. however, if your team is producing too many chances it can still be possible (if you got for example 15 shots on target and he saves 12 of them).

i don't suppose this is happening in a lot of matches either; probably once every 5 matches or so, and surely in matches you're not winning, because as long as you're winning it's even harder for opposition keepers to grab the mom award.

With fm 2008 i had the same prob.
Lots of changes, keeper of the opposite team a high rating.
It 'disappeared' in fm 2009 and also with fm 2010 i had no problems.
But since the 10.2.0 patch, i'm affraid its back.
I happens a lot to me, very annoying.
But what can you do..
Wait till the next patch comes, and hope it's gone!

keepers like diego lopez, shay given, julio cesar(most annoying) are the ones guaranteed to piss me off.. i literally got pissed off myself n give angry team talk n fining players. hahahha..


stam, could u activate smth that would enable us to login automatically like facebook? honestly i am tired of loggin in everytime i visit this site..

It used to be like that, but during the last 6 weeks or so it has become very annoying, logging you off after 30 minutes of inactivity. I currently can't fix it mate, you'll have to wait until I migrate the site to a new platform (hopefully by the end of March).
