I have just had a player drop 15 points in potential ability in six months. He has gone from PA 185 to 170. I've been playing FM for years,and I've never seen a players PA drop. I know actual (current) ability is fluid, but I always thought potential was fixed. Has anyone else seen this before or is it just a glitch?????

It's bloody weird huh? I'm hoping it's not a sign of things to come. It's extremely annoying as I sold off a decent defender because this lad was developing well and looked like he could be a bit special. Don't understand it.

did you up=date the patch. because wasnt there a fix in 10.2 to adjust PA

Yeah, but I've gone through 12 seasons with the patch and this is the only instance of it I've seen, so it seems a bit unlikely that it would be that

People maybe there is an untraceable bug cause it happened to me with FM2009 when I wanted to buy Moussa Sissoko from Toulouse and before getting him his PA was 182 and when it came to my tm he got it dropped to 172!

I had cristian benetiz I bought him, his stats dropped to that none of them were in double figures, and his value went down to 100k, red updated in over his editor and fixed it but these problems happen it must be a glitch

I've seen drops in Potential Rating as well..
