FM Genie Scout (or Genie Scout in short) is world's most popular scouting tool for Football Manager, created to extend the possibilities of finding, sorting and shortlisting players and staff, controlling their progress, making "first 11" and tactics choice easier and observing attributes invisible in FM.

Genie Scout 22 "g" edition now free!

As of October 3rd, the special "g" edition of Genie Scout is available for free! Normally this edition requires a license and is only given to Eugene's direct supporters who donate to keep the development of this brilliant tool alive.
Genie Scout 22g has no ads and includes some extra features, such as GS STATS, search by role rating and probability of development.

No.

Can I use it to edit attributes and other details?
No. However, we exclusively release a real time editor:

FMS Editor 22

How to run GS22

Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.

Follow instructions until installation is finished.

Run Football Manager 2022 and load your saved game.

Launch Genie Scout 22 and from main menu click "Load Game".

Donate to Eugene to get the "g" edition

As usual, Genie Scout 22 comes in two editions:

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads.

The "g" edition has no ads and includes a few minor extra features.

In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Eugene.

Genie Scout 22g Explained

DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION:
Eugene has automatized the process of distribution for the "g" edition, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link. Another email containing the key file might take a while though. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.

Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please contact Eugene using the email address you'll see in the message after donation.

IMPORTANT:
Donations are handled by Eugene. He will deliver the ad-free version to you after donation.

Bug Reports

During closed beta stage for supporters, Eugene fixed most bugs that came to surface. As a result, the public edition should be reasonably stable from its very first version.

Should you find a bug, please report it to the Genie Scout forum.
Read this before submitting any bugs!

Known issue: Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.

Any comment including bug report posted on this page will be removed on sight!

EXPORTING DATA:
Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

if u are playing game pass pc edition, GS doesnt work for now: Game could not be found. Since the winter update no GS G, nor public for us.
I am a customer (donor) since 2017, always play by steam never ever had a issue with GSG, but this first year on game pass... its a bummer.

I have the G version, I made the donation, the download, I inserted the key, and it still doesn't load the save, it says it's not compatible
Can anyone help me, since I contacted support and administration and nothing, no response so far

I feel bad for all Ukraine and I completely understand Eugene's situation. As a FM-addicted person, I like to play with Genie Scout. I have always been grateful to Eugene. I have never donated because if I donate, I will be a customer and I may act like a customer. I read so many problems about G edition, not only for this current sad period, but also for years. Donaters keep telling about the troubles they see in the G edition. I did not want to be one of them. Eugene may even decide to share Genie Scout only to donaters from now on, quite reasonable in my opinion. But I would expect much better customer service, much less problems in this case. Hope you and others don't get me misunderstood. Hope Eugene and his family will be safe. I can even wait until FM 23.

Please note that regardless of what is happening in Ukraine, public version of genie scout has always been delayed by 3 or 4 weeks after the release of SI’s winter update. Eugene does this to reward the donators of the G edition.

Of course - what is now happening in the world obviously makes things very difficult for Eugene and I would like to think we are all showing compassion towards him, his family and his fellow countrymen.

I understand eugene and everyone . there is war in ukraine but I think gs public cant wait a long time because does it change a little codes in gs22p settings for update?? so when will it release new version???
