FM Genie Scout has always been the world's favorite scout utility for Football Manager since its very first version.
We pride ourselves on exclusively releasing this legendary tool since 2009. As always we try our best to deliver Genie Scout to the world every year because your support to this project is outstanding.
Our aim is to update Genie Scout "g" edition to be usable for the FM24 Beta. Then fix any bugs reported. And ultimately try to add a couple of new features for Eugene's direct supporters.
FM Genie Scout 24 Release Date
Public edition
While we can't give you a firm date for the release of the public version, we should be able to release it towards late November. It usually arrives approximately 4-5 weeks after the "g" edition.Update: Eugene informed me that the public version should be ready on Sunday, November 26th.
"g" edition
The "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate, is available since 19 October (beta 1).Build 1404 was released on November 14th and is compatible with the 24.1.1 patch.
You can now donate for GS24 "g" edition.

The "g" edition is ad-free and has certain features compared to the public edition.
More specifically:

- GS Stats (new since 18g)
- In-Game Scout

Yes! If you still have FM23 installed, you can try the "g" edition of Genie Scout 23 for free. It's not a trial, it's 100% unlocked forever.
How can I get Genie Scout 24 public edition asap?
The public edition of GS24 will be directly added to fmscout.com the moment it is ready.But we can notify you via email when this happens, so you won't miss time at all.

For those who haven't escaped this error yet, I recommend doing this.
I'm assuming you have the same error on Genie Scout at the moment.

Anyone a idea how to fix this?
I also want to ask if anybody knows that: I am managing Real Madrid. How can I see Real Madrid C squad in Genie Scout? It only shows Real Madrid, Real Madrid U19 and Real Madrid Castilla as a seperated club, I think it also should be listed inside of Real Madrid, not seperated. Anyways. Real Madrid C squad simply unviewable in Genie Scout. Anybody knows how to see it? Thanks.
Is the probability of development field different in this year's FM/Genie due to the new 'late bloomer' mechanics?
@SandyTait: Yes, this will finally get added.
@EvandroRoncatto: G vs public shouldn't make a difference in terms of performance. I can't personally replicate this issue. Perhaps you have a lot of custom graphics installed?
@DivineGrace: GS24 public edition will arrive towards the end of this month. Likely date: 26 November
@Lykia22 @Shaunessy1983: Any chance you have like tons of graphics installed? Like hundreds of thousands of faces etc? That might explain the delay.
@huntelaar147 @tasos @marfsime: It's a key file problem. Place the key in the Genie Scout 24g folder and restart the app. If done correctly, "owner is absent" will be replaced by your name at the top of the window.
