How to install this data update to FM 2022
- Open the file you downloaded with .rar or winzip.
- Select all .fmf files and copy-paste/extract/drag & drop them into the editor data folder, to the following location:
Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2022 / editor data
Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist. - Make a new "Career" game. Choose the "22.4.0 Update" which includes the winter transfers and select all my files.
In case you have more editor data files:
When setting up a new game, do not have any other data update files ticked on your Editor Data Files screen except this one.
Choose only my files if you are not sure about the changes in every file. Many files together from different creators can cause crashes to the game, duplicates and other problems. Avoid using files from different creators.

- EU Places have been updated correctly in all 3 competitions (very few teams will enter in a wrong phase, that's a minor issue. Apologies to FC Slovácko fans, there was no way to add a new club in Europa League).
- Promotions/Relegations/Past Winners from:
• England: Premier League, Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One, Sky Bet League Two, Vanarama National League, The Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup, FA Community Shield, Papa John’s Trophy, The Buildbase FA Trophy, Vanarama National League North/South.
• Germany: Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga, DFB-Pokal.
• The Netherlands: Eredivisie, Keuken Kampioen Divisie, TOTO KNVB Beker, Johan Cruijff Schaal.
• Russia: Tinkoff Russian Premier League, Olimp-Russian Football Championship, Betcity Kubok Rossii, Olimp Superkubok Rossii.
• Scotland: cinch Premiership, cinch Championship, cinch League One, cinch League Two, Scottish Cup, Betfred Cup, Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup.
- 2 new files: Dutch New Format & Sub Rules + English New Format & Sub Rules (make sure you delete the previous file from England, the one with the sub rules).
- New staff, Sebastian Geppert from Dortmund.
- Last year injuries have been removed worldwide & in some cases replaced with new.
*Promotions/Relegations will be completed pack by pack. Every league in a nation has to finish, so I can update the whole nation.
**Promotions/Relegations in England need both "English New Format & Sub Rules" AND "Promotions/Relegations" files combined to work correctly.
