Conte’s Juventus tactic 2.0 (2011-14) DOMINATE every match.

The tactic follows the steps of the first 3 years of Juventus winning cycle, coached by Conte, who took it from two 7th places to win 3 league titles in a row.

Football Manager 2022 Tactics - Conte’s Juventus tactic 2.0 (2011-14) DOMINATE every match.
INTRODUCTION

Conte's Juve dominated in Italy, scored and continued to attack looking for the 2-0, but at the same time defended compactly with the help of the midfielders. After watching some full matches and studying offensive and defensive movements, I recreated the tactic down to the smallest details. I improved last year's tactic making it even more realistic thanks to the new function of central defenders in 3-5-2, used by Antonio Conte himself during his Juventus era.

TACTIC TESTED WITH A.C. MILAN AT THE SECOND SEASON ( 2022/2023 )
I updated a video with all 118 goals in the season 22/23. Enjoy :)

The key points of the tactics are
1) domination of the field
2) solid pressing and solid defense
3) High tempo
4) Overlapping Fullbacks
5) Goals from midfielders
6) goals, goals and... goals
7) INTENSITY

TYPE OF PLAYERS YOU NEED

Goalkeeper : Good passing and good reflexes

CD ( R ) : Good marking, you need the classic Wall-Defender

CD ( L ) : The same of CD(R) but with more aggression

BPD : Very good Vision, Passing and marking

Wing Backs : very good stamina, pace and crossing

DLP : very good creativity, vision, technique, teamwork, decisions and passing, that role is the key point of the tactic

LEFT MEZZALA : very good stamina, passing, marking, technique and off the ball

RIGHT MEZZALA : he must be more defensive compared to the left mezzala. We need the classic box to box midfielder, like Vidal, Barella, Mckennie etc...

TM : he must be tall, and must have good heading and off the ball

DLF : Very good pace, off the ball, finishing and technique

When we have the ball we will see a 3-3-4, while during the defensive phase we will see a very solid aggressive 5-3-2. I hope you like the tactic, good luck!

Tested with Tottenham. Had an amazing home record in the league, drawing only 3 games and winning the rest. Away record however was awful finishing in the bottom half of the away table meaning i scrapped into the top 4 overall at the end of the season. Anyone know why this might be and have any tweak suggestions for away days? Overall brilliant tactic and very fun to use!

Good tactic! Managed to win my first season with Newcastle with a totally renovated squad

Either a huge roster or swap between control possession and high pressing.

So...switched to this tactic from one of Knap tactics almost mid-season - actually switched half-time, at 0-1 :))

Absolutely magnificent tactic. Won the match 3-1, and after this managed to produce "champagne football": 3-1, 3-0, 8-2, 6-2....those allowed goals bother me, but, hey! used it only for 5 matches... Cheers!

What should I change the shape to if I have a man sent off?

@j3richo, what changes did you make to it? interested in giving it a go but the intensity puts me off!

had to register to give my opinion on this tactic: it's really good! Using it in my Milan save currently. Destroyed both Fiorentina and Atalanta who are doing great in my game, 4-0. I reduced the intensity a little bit because, as pointed out below, the players get tired extremely fast. Thank you for sharing this great tactic, sir!

@Romano.338 i suggest you to buy players with good stamina value

I do too. But players still struggle.

how do peole use tactics with intensity so high without having fatigue/injuries issues? I tried even with a fairly light training and player rotation, and my players are still dead early in the game and struggling to be able to play games after games, even with 5-6 days of recovery between

@tubuus Yes it is. Go to see Conte's Juventus matches, conte style 10 years ago was different compared to the recent one.
