Hello everyone,

here is the league pack for all nations/federations in Asia. It also includes the continental competitions for the 2024 format with coefficients.

Creating the world is a very time consuming task, and I do not have the time to support and test all databases. So I am going with the latest version only. The bright side is that it is for free. Tips are more than welcome though :-)

    @masterigor:
Great job as always, played 3 seasons in Singapore, wanted to bring up about Shopee cup, and I've read that there's nothing we could do because of dynamic system.

Another point i would like to bring up is @Lida14 comment, during my 3rd season, I found that Young Lions rules in registration was given to Albirex Niigata instead.

This was found during v24.12 // Let me try using version 13 and see what I can find out.

On another note, I've updated a lot of Singapore league and cup infrastructure and player staff future move, is there a way for me to port over those files to v13?

    Thank you for your work.

PS; Please help support MasterIgor by buying him a coffee

    Cheers

@Min2413: yes it should start in May. Please check and verify if my rule file is correctly loaded (and no other files for Malaysia are loaded)

@shannyarg: yes all my files are compatible with another.

    @kedahgombak:
I based my file on what I could find in my research. For Malaysia and Qualification I found the following:

Malaysia (MAS): As 2023 Malaysia FA Cup winners Johor Darul Ta'zim qualified for the Champions League Elite via their league position, the spot reserved for the Malaysia FA Cup winners was passed onto the runners-up of the 2023 Malaysia Super League.

So it said runner up of the league instead of the cup. This information could be wrong of course. But the qualification (for the entire AFC cups) is already very complicated and it was difficult to get it right.
Also, the Shopee Cup qualification is a little different in every nation, but it's something that is hard to do in a dynamic system if the ranking based on coefficients change. So I chose to go for the best team in the league.

My resources are limited, but you can change the file and the qualification for your personal use.

Isnt Malaysian League supposed to start May? mine still start in January and end in December im in 12/2024 in game
  • rrr122's avatar
@kedahgombak This is a simple question, but it will not be modified because it is not a logical error unless it is a real existence

JDT team win the malaysia super league, malaysia cup, and fa cup (they are too strong in real life too). So they qualified for ACL ELITE & asean club championship in the same season in my save, in real life situation runner up in malaysia cup should qualify for ACL2, runner up in fa cup qualified for asean club championship while jdt will go to acl elite like usual, its quite complicated but need help to fix this.
  • MasterIgor's avatar
@rrr122: yes, you are right, there is an issue with that, I will try to find a solution.

@ytplasticman: this is very strange, and I don't see anything wrong at first sight, in order to find the problem or explanation quicker, can you send me the save game?
  • MasterIgor's avatar
@i_diavolorosso: those rules are in and will be in effect from 2024 (i.e. the 2nd year in the game)
  • rrr122's avatar
When a team wins the league championship and cup championship, its seed is 12 and its national points are not in the top three, it cannot participate in the ASEAN Club Championship (Shopee Cup)
  • ytplasticman's avatar
I have found an issue, I won the HKPL (Hong Kong League) and FA Cup at the same time in 23/24, and my team have qualified for both ACLE and ACL2 at the same time. I wonder if there is any bug in the editor data

Hi man, thank you so much for this! Just to note that it seems you have made an update to Indonesia's top tier foreign player rule but I don't think it's there yet. The current rules is 8 foreign players can be registered (no nationality restriction), of which only 6 can play. Would really appreciate if you could update. Thanks!
  • MasterIgor's avatar
@Lida14: no I don't. I just implement the rules as I find them in my research.
  • MasterIgor's avatar
@Winklerbua: I am not sure you are doing anything wrong. The "AI" or algorithms might decide to register only 2 players in this case. Perhaps you want to add something like "5 foreigners allowed in squad" and "2 foreigners allowed in playing 11".
I changed the rules to 5 allowed in playing 11 by the way.
  • Winklerbua's avatar
I tried changing the UAE leagues so the foreigner rules are more realistic. But whatever I do, when I keep "2 foreigners" for the 2nd tier, even in the "Playing 11" and set maximum players to 99, the teams just register 2 foreigners and none of their others. Even though they could switch them or even substitute one for one. What am I doing wrong please?

Can you tell me why Singapore has removed the limit for Young Lions in terms of the number of young players and foreign players?

@abir_dc: Thank your for letting me know. But now I must make yet another fix & version :)

    Incredible work as always.

I noticed an issue with the Thai League 3 promotion system. Right now, it’s set to draw promoted teams from the Amateur Division, but there aren’t any teams in that division in the database. All the teams are actually in the Thailand Lower Division.

Because of this, the game just ends up promoting the same teams that got relegated the previous season. A simple fix would be to change Thai League 3 to pull promoted teams from Thailand Lower Division instead. That should sort it out!

Hope this can be fixed. Cheers!

@MasterIgor: i typically start at season 23/24, go into Holidayman mode 1 year into the season and retire Holidayman before I become an unemployed manager. So before starting the game, during advance setup, I have to remove Bosnia and Italy to avoid unable to start the game, alternative, I just unselected them before the setup in the database to add in Italy as Bosnia isn't a playable league. Cheers

Sorry for the confusion, I read the comments on the daveincid mod and apparently he did something to fix this. The other people doing a Saudi database had seen it as impossible to fix and abandoned it pretty much, so I didn't even think it would be possible with this + his mod.

What I can bring to your attention to look at maybe, in the UAE league in this mod there is a 5 foreigner rule and 2 in the 2nd division. In real life the government did something, that you can register like 5 foreigners as "residents" so they don't count for that number. While you can't replicate this in the editor, I think it would be more realistic to have a higher limit? Right now every team there has many foreigners not registered.
