Have you thought about changing the tactics. Perhaps playing with attacking wingers as opposed to the more subdued ones you have here. Or, dropping one of the central midfielders back to deal with Eddie Johnson's attacking runs. Sebastian Kehl would probably be the ideal ball-winning midfielder.
Could you sign Gattuso as a non-designated player, similarly to how Montreal has Nesta? His salary doesn't seem to be very high.
