I'd say there's not a lot to do here. Normally I'd suggest the priority if you're not winning is to make the back line, esp. the central defenders, as good as possible; while if you are winning and want to upgrade, you need to secure a dominant central midfield. But the way you're set up to play, with Hulk and Gotze as wingers, you have less room for a purely attacking central midfield type, else I'd look at players like Ganso, Pjanic, Pastore, perhaps paired with someone like M'Vila to hold the fort and win the ball.
But you don't say why you think it needs to improve, looks like you're doing well enough to lead the league and everybody playing ridiculously well (that "cheat" comment from Evo does have a ring to it)... heck, the easiest answer is go get Messi, right?
