This looks like it solves your problem really, might be that you need to edit what I wrote in the previous post as well not to create any conflicting information on the player, I have no idea. But this really looks like should be the solution to the problem with players not being home grown.
You can also change the attributes of the players, but this i think ruins the whole point of the game, is ok to change small things if it means one doesn't quit playing the game because of it.
But beyond this I think you should just fiddle with the program and figure things out, is how you become good at it, not like you can ruin much anyway, is always the fail-safe with re-installing things.
