Part 2: The Practice Match
Neik ran out of his house he was running late... Very late. It was 08:00 and his practice match with the older kids started in 30 minutes. He knew they may not even be really have contacts with in the game. But he knew that this would be his only real chance to become a pro footballer he was reliant on these older kids and he could not be late!
He arrived at the playing field just 5 minutes be the chosen kick-off time. He was instantly thrown into the worse team as a punishment but this suited Neik fine it gave him a chance to shine... A chance show the world what he has.
The game was a success to say the least. Neik scored 7 goals in the 70 minute match and he made a fool out of Ryan van Dooveild, Rotterdam so called best wonderkid. Many scouts have said he will become the greatest defender in Dutch history if he keeps his progression on track but Neik mayed him look like a fool. He left him on the floor more times than he could count, he was on fire. But out of the corner of his eye Neik saw a man. A man he did not recognise he was tall and looked at the game with a scrutinsing way. Neik instantly knew it was a scout. He knew this may just be his chance.
