One of the games had Nuno Gomes put the icing on the cake for a 4-2 victory against the Dons, which must have really steamed Rab's buns, considering in our story he signed Nuno Gomes to his Hiberian side, for pretty big wages, and he was awful. Gomes kept skying shots due to his shoots from distance PPM, and late in the season Gomes had a long-term injury (broken foot if I recall correctly), that meant he was pretty much finished as a player, but he still had a year or two to go on his Hibernian contract and the wages were pretty onerous.
