Took charge of a team called Thorpe Hesley of the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior Div One. 9 clubs compete to win the league and get themselves up a level to the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior level of football.
Playing on local council fields and no training facilities to speak of, with £105 in the club coffers and no wages to pay, the club is expected to lose around £4,580 this season.
My club is 3rd favorites to go up locals tell me 26 year old Gareth Garlick will occupy my central attacking midfield spot or one of the two centre forward spots, a decent player for this level.
26 year old Alex Blackmore is another to watch and will play in one of the two striking spots, another decent player at this level.
With no history to speak of, whatever I do with this club will be record breaking.
Aim for this season:
Fill the squad with as many players of the next level of football as possible and hope for some type of investment in the club.
