The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia have officially completed their takeover of Newcastle United, with new owner Mohammed Bin Salman insisting he will stop at nothing to make sure his new side challenge for the biggest honours in domestic and European football
Former owner Mike Ashley opted to sell the Premier League side after years at the helm after admitting he lacked the finances to really push Newcastle United forward
Mohammed Bin Salman:
"We are ambitious for the club, like you, but not unreasonably so and we understand it takes time to build a team capable of sustaining a presence in the top 4 of the Premier League and winning European honours.
"We know a little of the history at Newcastle also and whilst we want to bring in top class players, we also want to see the academy continue to develop talent and give the manager a platform to bring home-grown players into the team
