I rest my players as above and also dont play them in a game before an important game and players are still injured. 'Rest for two weeks' guarantees that the player will get 'blisters' or injured in a training session that they shouldn't have been in.
That player will then complain that they are not playing often enough, even though they are at 60% fitness and you are putting them in softly.
Should be able to get certain players back quicker. Attributes of 'courage, eagerness and commitment to club/manager/team mates' should be a factor.
I never promise them playing time on return, but still they complain. 50 games played this season as a starter? i want to play in 80!!!
This, and the set piece section of the game is the most unrealistic.
