With the pre-season over my boys look to begin our title hunt with a few wins and get the points on the board as early as possible. The Irish League has gone over a sort of re form and there are now 12 teams in the league instead of 10, and 33 games instead of 36. The first 10 games went well, although some of the wins may not have been as emphatic as id hoped for. Ok so here are our results so far:

vs Bohemians 3-0

vs Sligo Rovers 2-1
vs Cork city 1-1
vs Dundalk 3-0
vs Bary Wanderers 3-1
The League table looked like this

2nd Sligo Rovers - pts 23
3rd Cork City- pts 23*
4th St. Pat’s Athletic – pts 20
5th Drogheda Utd – pts 13
6th Bary Wanderers – pts 12
7th Shelbourne - pts 10
8th UCD - pts 8
9th Derry City – pts 7
10th Limerick F.C –pts 6
11th Bohemians – pts 4
12th Dundalk – pts 3
* cork city have a game in hand
So we where looking strong and we had already opened up a 6 point gap.
I think we managed to secure some good transfers and we have started the league well. What do you guys think?
