It's a problem I always have managing UTD as you feel such loyalty to the older players who are legends at the club and end up keeping them but they just fill valuable squad places and don't get many games.

Giggs and Scholes retire end of Season 2 and Rio at the end of season 3. I think it's always worth keeping them and signing them as coaches because like Ironstark says they are all class, especially Scholes and if you let them go the board and the fans don't like it. Before they updated I used to be able to sell Rio for £25m at the start of the game but no one will give you anything much for him now so it's simply not worth selling him because he will do a job right up until he retires.

I normally sell Berbatov, Park and carrick straight away as you can get good money for them and I see them as no more than squad players so I feel it's best to cash in an reinvest.

Really enjoying your story tho as it's much different to the way I normally go about it.Your youth development is quality. Keep up the good work.
