Maximiliano Romero FM17 Profile

Maxi Romero is probably the best striker wonderkid there is in FM17. I am managing Wolves. and since the begining i've kept an eye on him. I've scouted him in a couple of saves and hsi development and consistency is unrivaled from my experience I paid a steeper price than you might pay for him but when i bought him (at 21 should be noted) he was good enough to start for CL clubs like mine and then some since he has been developing ever since. In his debut season he became Golden Boot winner in every competition and probably my favorite thing is that he is rarely injured so no matter what i have a dependable striker up top.

I have almost exclusively deployed him as a complete forward with support duty but Romero's stats are well rounded enough that you can use him in other striker roles aswell. Physically he is exceptional he isnt the tallest, but far from the smallest. He is quite bulky which helps his strength but far from slow (15 acc 15 pace). Adept with both head and feet (it says that his left foot is reasonable but trust me when i say he is two footed) and incredibly good off the ball and has left some of the greatest defenders in the world for dead with amazing runs. Passing is a bit weak at only 12 but he more than good enough to play quick one-twos and through balls to wingers. Ice cold from the spot and is very dependable makes him a complete package all things considered.

You might get different mileage but if all my other saves are to go by you can expect him to be a top striker in your league if not world class for a great price if you get him early. He is very young at the beginning but if you give him first team experience in one or two seasons you will have an amazing striker in your hands.
