Harry Maguire is a solid centre back for any Championship or lower Premier League side. Although likely to be very expensive during the first season, by the second, providing he doesn't sign a new contract and Sheffield United don't get promoted, Maguire should be a bargain purchase.
I picked him up at the start of the second season (I'd advise you act quickly to snap him up as other clubs will probably be in for him) for a measley £850k and I use him as either a Central Defender - Defend or a Ball Playing Defender - Cover, though I'm yet to find out which role he plays best in.
Overall he's a consistent centre half who is unlikely to have many bad games for you, whoever you are. While he won't stand out from the crowd, he'll certainly add solidity to your defence and was key in helping me survive in my first season in the Championship. Plus, his growth is steady enough to show that he has lots of potential and so far he's been injury free, which shows in his career appearances to date.
