Denswil is one of the many talents at the Dutch club Ajax, in this version of FM he can be either one of the best defenders you can get, or hopelessly fail and will never be heard of again. Stefano is out on a loan at the start of the game so you’ll have to wait a bit longer before he will actually join.
Ajax has an asking price between 5 and 12,5M for Denswill, which is a decent amount for a defender like him. You can actually try to negotiate a little to maybe get the price below 5M but so far they always try to get 5M.
Offering him a contract will be quite a relieve, he can join as a hot prospect with a wage around 20k per month with either a 5% per year rise of wage or just for the 20K. If you are able to get his wage lower then it’s even better of course.
Stefano is a Natural DC but is almost as good on the left back position, if you want to retrain him to a DM however that’s also an option since he has decent passing and first touch.
This will give you quite a few options to use him in all kinds of tactics, let’s say you’ll play with 3 defenders then he can be one of them but if you have better options then him already but lack a good dm or dl in your team he can still fill those spots. So feel free to use him as you like best.
Denswil will be rated between 3 and 5 stars by your scouts, if you are managing a team like Chelsea, United, Bayern. For slightly lower teams like Napoli, Sevilla, HSV he will be 4,5 or 5 stars. As with most players once you are 3 or 4 seasons into the game he’ll drop a bit in rating.
Stefano is a media friendly player with a balanced personality, he won’t tell everything what happens at the club to the media, but he is a player that like to talk to them as soon as he gets unhappy or if things are said about him. During team talks or team gathering he will get motivated most of the times, but can be a bit of a pain from time to time.
After the likes of Zouma, Varane and Jones, Stefano will be one of the players that seem interesting to sign this year, if you are lucky he can be generated as a very good player and he’ll perform above average in most of the matches. But my personal preference goes to 1 of the 3 others.
