February

Overall thoughts

Let me just say Februsry was a very special month for Dijon. First in league play we have won 24 straight wins. Secondly we are now in first. Yes I sad that right, FIRST!!!!!!!!!! We are going to keep trucking until the end. In the Coupe de la Ligue we are returning to the final. The match will be against Lorient. We are also on the way to the Coupe de France Quarter Final. Man I can't believe in three years of my reign we are now a powerhouse. March should be really good. Oh wait one more thing, our Europa League campaign continues as we will be facing Bundesliga Club Wolfsburg. That victory against Valencia will forever be in our memories. Lets start March off by kicking P$G's ass.

Europa League Quarter and Semi Final Round Draw

March

Overall thoughts

The streak is still on!!! Everything is going well for this club and I know Dijon will be champions. As of right now we are five points ahead of P$G. In Europa League the run continued also. After beating 3-2 in the second leg we were drawn against Liverpool. Now as that was announced everyone was scared but guess what game day came and things were amazing. That match was was the final of the month and let me say wow. Thanks to a mistake Gameiro scored the only goal in leg 1. Hopefully we survive the trip to Anfield.

Dijon FCO's run continues as they face Celtic next

Cinderella French club Dijon FCO will continue there magical run in the 2015/16 Europa League. Le DFCO have been on fire both domestically and in this competition. They are currently in first in Ligue 1.

At the end of March they faced Liverpool and came out on top as they would secure an important 1-0 win at home. Thanks to an error by Liverpool GK Jose Manuel Reina, attacker Kevin Gameiro was able to score from range. This would be their only goal at home. With Timo Horn's shut out it gave Dijon momentum coming into the second leg.

Leg two was very exciting for both sides as we got to see Dijon overcome a major attack by the home side. It was a very back and forth match as both sides were scoring one after another. AM Will Hughes was the key man for Dijon as he scored the second away goal to secure their spot. At the end Liverpool would score goal number three bring the two legs level, but it was not enough. Dijon win.

With this win they will now be facing SPFL side Celtic in the next round. The matches will be played on the 21st and 28th of April. Who ever wins this match will go on to the final to face either Bursaspor and Tottenham.
Well done mate, some fantastic results and top of the league! Not long to go now...good luck mate!

Dijon retain Coupe de la Ligue title
Dijon 4-1 FC Lorient
19/4/2016

Dijon have won their second trophy this season the Coupe de la Ligue. This is also their second in a row. The team looked unstoppable during the entire cup run and never looked back. Dijon are not close to completing their quest for the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France and the UEFA Europa League title.

On a mild spring evening at Stade de France, Dijon FCO had the honor of lifting the Coupe de la Ligue after their convincing 4-1 victory over FC Lorient.

Things did not get off to a good start for FC Lorient as strong centre-back Billel Amirouche seized on an error by Remi Mulumba to score a real poachers effort from 13 m out. FC Lorient's equalizer through Lamine Kone as he seized on Amirouche's mistake to score a well timed finish from close range. An error from Lorient's Kai Huisman allowed striker Kevin Gameiro to score a shot witch came from an assist by the woodwork. Wonderkid Lu Jingjun scored from close range in the 31st minute to increase the scoreline. Thank to Lu Dijon would score again as he was credited with an assist after Victor Andrade scored to finish the route.

After the match Andrade was names player of the tournament due to his leading five goals.

Dijon win second straight Coupe de France

Despite loss to Celtic earlier this week Dijon comeback on top
2/5/2016

Dijon have done it they are now proud champions of the Coupe de France. This is their second straight year that they have won the competition. In other news this also gives them the famous French Quadruple. With three matches to go Dijon have clinched the Ligue 1 title.

It all happened on a wet evening in Paris as Dijon and Monaco squared off. Dijon would be the winners in a 0-0 match that lead to penalties. The final outcome in the shootout came after Rodriguez of Monaco missed the shot. Dijon would be perfect winning the shootout 13-12.

The 2015 French Manager of the year now has collected six different competition wins, he is now starting to plan for Euro 2016 and a possible victory for France on home soil. With the victory and the Quad Gagne will be a hot name when it come to job rumors.
What a season so far! Retaining the Coupe de France and having such a fantastic league campaign, say well done to the lads for me ;)

Well done mate, winning any cup is brilliant and I'm sure whatever competition it is you win you'll be happy, and good luck for the rest of your games in the leagues!
Just caught up mate, doing insanely well so far... and don't in a million years think about stopping this story :P

End of season

Overall thoughts

This update will cover the final two months. If you did not know what they are you have not been reading. Well for Ligue 1 we are the champions. First time ever and all I can say is FUCK YEAH! We also won the Coupe de la Ligue and Coupe de France again. Its insane how hard work and a little cash can go far. So many have been congratulating us and I appreciate that. Ending the PSG winning streak feels so good. Sadly we fell against Celtic but that's fine. We did better than expected. Now its the season well not for me. I have to now coach France in Euro 2016 while working on our rosters. See yea soon!!
