On a fine summer's evening at Stade de France, France's Hugo Lloris lived the dream of many as the captain lifted the Euro Championship Cup after France's victory in penalties over Germany. France would win 5-4 on these.

With the game nearing the end, it was Antoine Griezmann who scored a shot from distance to give France the lead in the 103rd. With France beginning to celebrate, winger Kevin Volland then scored the equalizer, crushing France's celebration. This would bring the match into penalties a few minutes later. It was up to France's Mathieu Debuchy who had all the pressure. He had one job, score the penalty and win. He did and France won their third European Championship.

2016 has been a kind year to France manager Marc-Édouard Gagné who coaches both the national team and Dijon FCO. Now the question is will he be able to continue France's success in the World Cup campaign and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup?

WOO go France! :D Good luck with the next World Cup mate, you can win it!
NAVEED: Yes we can!!
If England get knocked out then Viva La France xD

New sponsorship deals, kits and other things

Dear Supporters and Friends,
As you know we have become known in the football world it is the perfect opportunity to help expand our band. In the last few years we have toured the USA and Japan helping the brand grow globally. Earlier this year we reached a land mark deal with football giant Adidas. This deal will run for 10 years starting this year. Also we reached a 5 year deal with telecommunication giant Deutsche Telekom. This will help increase our revenue as well as Deutsche Telekom's presence in France. Below are our new kits.

The top three will be the clubs home, away and third (European kits). Below are the three goalkeeper shirts that will be rotated at any match day. They will go on sale at the club shops and our website on 20 July 2016. All will be sold for €65 and later in the year we will be selling authentic kits.

One last thing I would like to do is congratulate Marc-Édouard on his victory in the 2016 European Championship. We here at Dijon are proud of you Kevin, Ablam and Edwin on this great accomplishment and representing Dijon FCO on the European stage.

Thanks and see you at the matches,
Oliver Delcourt

Paris Saint-Germain win the Trophée des champions
Dijon FCO 1-3 PSG
30/7/2016

Benin was the site of the 2016 Trophée des champions. This was a rematch between Dijon FCO (Ligue 1 winners) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 runners up). In what was pegged to be an exciting match that was predicted to go to penalties, Paris would win 3-1, thus ending the trophy streak of Dijon at 6.

After the a scoreslees first half things would start to pick up in the second half. New signing Karim Benzema was the first person to score. His beautful finish whipped past the Dijon keeper at the 52nd minute. Latter on Dijon's Etienne Capoue allowed Benzema to score again. Finally Cavani would score the last goal for PSG with a header inside the six yard box in the 77th minute. Dijon would get their only goal thanks to a header from Jan Kirchhoff.

Interview with Marc-Édouard Gagné

Recently we sat down with Dijon FCO and France manager Marc-Édouard Gagné to talk about many things from; club, country and many other things. He was really happy to talk with us and is looking forward to the upcoming season.

Congratulations on everything in the past year, what does it feel like?

It has been a great 2015/16 season for both club and country. I love the direction that Dijon are going and I feel a repeat could happen in league play again. The guys I added in will be a big help and they have the quality to get us to succeed again. Winning Euro 2016 on home soil was very special to everyone from the federation, players and fans. Can't wait for the next few tournaments.

Many have question the selling of Kevin Gameiro, why did you do it?

Well he is my really good friend and all but it's a business. Last season I had very high expectations and he just did not deliver, too many goal droughts. During Euro I sat down with him and we agreed that a move is suitable. We still keep in touch and there was no hard feelings. He will do amazing in Italy.

How did you get the money for those new transfers?

Well thanks to winning/going places we made so much money that we were able to spend pretty hig. What also helped was not buying in the winter window.

Finally, what are your goals in Champions League?

Well it is going to be amazing playing in Champions but let's be realistic here. We will settle for third and will have a very good run in Europa. I feel we can win Europa if we end up going to it.
Luscious kits mate ;) unlucky against P$G though, but of course the unstoppable Benzema scored! :D
Nice interview there mate, and lovely kits:P Keep it up lad!
Cool kits, nice idea by including the Goalkeeper shirts! Nice interview too
Good Luck in Europe, Dude! Are you going to be active in the transfer window, or is it already over or what :P
@Naveed: It's ok about Benzema. For beating us i left him off the next friendly squad.

@AaronHJFT96: Thanks for the encouragement.

@Nick: I had nothing to do so I was like hmm let me copy some of Neuers kits lol.

@TK69: Wait and see. Went spent so much. The board even got me some of these expensive players.
