England win the World Cup

The England squad have done the unthinkable. For many years England winning any competition was said to be unheard of. Most fans condemned England believe the nations time as giants in the continental competitions was over. Yet Roy Hodgson and the boys have proved differently.

Flying through Group F which was thought to be a hard group. Boasting the Cameroon's, Spaniards and Jamaican's all difficult games. Still England went on through along with the Cameroon. Leaving favourites Spain in their dust.

Along came the second round where England geared up against an unlikely South Korean side. Where Rooney, Welbeck, Gerrard and Carrick gave a 4-2 win over the surprise package side. Many were shocked they even got two goals.

Past the second round and into the Quarter Final England came up against a fierce rival, Germany. Itching to set the record straight. England swept the Jerry aside, winning 2-1. Goals from Gerrard and Baines.

Into the Semi-Final England fought an at home Brazilian side, expected to win. Their expectations were too high said England as they smashed through the Brazilians ranks winning 1-0. Goal from Welbeck.

The Final beckoned England on. Where they found their competition. Many were wondering how their opposition got there. The same question they were asking about England. World Cup 2014 Final hosted two of the most unlikely of teams, England and Ghana. England didn't take the Africans lightly and they finished the 6-1. Goals from Young, Rooney and Welbeck, with a hatrick from Baines sent the squad home with the trophy. wtf ... oh and Wilshere got injured as usual.

King to give Falque chance

Many fans believed Iago Falque's time at Tottenham was to be up this coming summer. Returning from a mediocre loan spell at Liga BBVA side Rayo Vallecano SAD this season where he appeared in 27 games scoring 2 goals and averaging a 6.83. Nothing special from a player looking for a spot on a Champions League team.

King has let fans and potential buyers know that the player is not for sale and will very much be part of the Tottenham squad for the coming season.

"Many people believe Iago doesn't have a future with us. This is false. Every player who comes through the ranks of the Tottenham structure deserves a go at becoming a part of the first team. I thoroughly believe Falque deserves that and I am willing to let him have a go." said King.

Tottenham sign two

Ledley has brought in two more players for the upcoming season. One with eyes for becoming a first team regular this season and one for the future.

Nathaniel Clyne impressed for Crystal Palace years back earning him a step up into the Premier League with Southampton. Since then the player has done nothing but, perform. The right back has played two solid seasons for the South Coast club. Now the 23 year old will be looking at challenging fast paced Kyle Walker for the starting position at White Hart Lane. Signing for 11m Clyne will continue his prospering career in North London.

The second signing comes in the shape of a youngster. Just last year picked by the Celtic scouts Dougie Hay has already caught the eye of many clubs. The young goalkeeper apparently was on King's from the start. Dougie will be looking to break into the first team in the next couple of years. Signing from Celtic for 2.5m.
