Germany 4 - 0 Faroe Island

Germany: Leno - Lahm(c), Boateng, Hummels, Höwedes (60. Durm) - Schweinsteiger (58. Khedira) - Kroos, Müller (65. Podolski) - Reus, Klose, Volland

One of the two deciding matches and we had a though first half!
The opponent gave everything they had in their tanks, as they hadn't allowed Germany a single chance in the whole first half and the german fans already booed at the players in the first half.
The faroer players didn't tried anything to creat a chance, so there was nothing to talk about in the first half!
Bernd Leno made his debut and did it in style with a clean sheet.

The second half saw a real spectacle for the german fans. It all began with the leading goal from Marco Reus, when he scored the lead in the 49th minute, after Kevin Volland hit the crossbar and Reus only needed to pass the ball in the empty goal!
Only 5 minutes later Miroslav Klose doubled the lead, after a high cross from near the corner the Faroer keeper made a real mistake and dropped the ball, he should have held easily!
In the 80th minute Marco Reus scored his second goal after a long solo run and Germany already celebrated their group win.
3 minutes before the game had ended, Lukas Podolski scored a beautiful goal after an amazing team move, where 3 or 4 players made direct passes and Marco Reus had the chance to score a third time, but he saw Podolski in a better situation to score and made an outstanding pass.

Germany 1 - 0 Irland

Germany: Neuer(c) - Großkreutz, Mustafi, Hummels, Höwedes - Khedira - Kroos ( 65. Schweinsteiger), Müller (70. Özil) - Volland, Gomez (46. Klose), Götze

We had already been qualified for the World Cup and now I was able to change one or two things in order to gain as much information as possible for the upcoming fixtures and the possible Squad for the World Cup, even though it's still a long way.
The game itself wasn't that interesting, as both teams seemed to be tired after the game a few days before!
It took 20 minutes until Ireland had the first chance, but Manuel Neuer destroyed every chance Irleand created. He held every ball, he ran out to clear the ball, before the irish striker had the chance to get to the ball!
In the 34th minute Thomas Müller again scored a goal and brought us the lead, as Kevin Volland brought in a good cross, which the irish goalkeeper couldn't have held and let it slip trough his hands. And there he stands, Thomas Müller, always in the right position to score.

The second half didn't had anything, except the final whistle and the german players celebrating, after they advanced to the World Cup!

Goalkeeper tragedy for Heynckes!

For the upcoming friendly match against Holland, Jupp Heynckes is in real trouble as the number one and two goalkeepers are injured and unavailable for that fixtures!

Manuel Neuer and Marc-Andre ter Stegen clearly seem to be the first two choices for Heynckes and now he has the chance to see three other goalkeepers fighting for that third spot at the same time.
Bernd Leno, Roman Weidenfeller, Ron-Robert Zieler, Ralf Fährmann or Rene Adler seem to be fighting for the third place.
Other rumors say that Kevin Trapp, Oliver Baumann or Fabian Giefer also make themselves some hope to be called up by Jupp Heynckes.
It will be a though call for Heynckes, as he has loads of talented Goalkeepers to choose of.
Other Managers would love to have that quality level in their squad. Heynckes has at least 10 good goalkeepers who could be the number one in loads of other nations!

Friendly squad announced

A squad of 23 players where announced for the upcoming games against Holland and Cyprus.
I will make some changes as we need to see loads of players and how they can help this team to win the World Cup!

Goalkeepers

1 Bernd Leno, 12 Roman Weidenfeller, 23 Ron-Robert Zieler

Defenders

2 Kevin Großkreutz, 3 Erik Durm, 4 Bendikt Höwedes, 5 Mats Hummels, 14 Per Mertesacker, 16 Phillip Lahm, 20 Jerome Boateng, 21 Shkodran Mustafi

Midfielders

6 SamiKhedira, 7 Bastian Schweinsteiger, 8 MesutÖzil, 9 Andre Schürrle, 10 Lukas Podolski, 13 Thomas Müller, 15 Ilkay Gündogan, 17 Marco Reus, 18 Toni Kroos, 19 Mario Götze

Strikers

11 Miroslav Klose, 22 Kevin Volland

We can test 3 Goalkeepers and let them fight for a 3rd spot in our normal squad.
Now Andre Schürrle, Ilkay Gündogan and Per Mertesacker can show us, what they got because they got a secure spot in the first eleven in the next game, if they won't hurt themselves.
Maybe it's a good chance to test Thomas Müller or Kevin Volland as the striker. Both of them played most of the time in the attacking midfield area, but they can play as a striker also.

2 Players out injured

Jupp Heynckes needs to pick up 2 replacements for Mesut Özil and Toni Kroos, as both player are unable to play for Germany due to injury!

Maximilian Meyer and Leon Goretzka both had picked as a replacement and it's likely that both of them will get a chance as Jupp Heynckes is about to test some various stuff in the next two fixtures!
Also Phillip Lahm is out for the first game against Holland as he picked up a knock and Heynckes didn't want to make things bad, as it is only a friendly game!

Holland 2 - 3 Germany

Germany: Leno (46.Weidenfeller) - Großkreutz, Mertesacker (46. Hummels), Mustafi, Durm - Khedira (70.Goretzka) - Gündogan (66.Schweinsteiger), Meyer (66.Reus) - Götze, Volland (66.Müller), Schürrle

The match began with a bang! After 35 seconds Holland scored a goal, but Robin van Persie was clearly offside and so the goal hadn't stand and the game had gone on. Still in the first minute, Kevin Volland made a shoot which was almost destined to be in, but Tim Krul made a safe on a world class level! With now 2 minutes played the game showed what it could become and after 10 minutes there where 5 or 6 amazing chances to pick up the lead for both teams.
In the 12th minute it was Mario Götze who scored the lead, after Maximilian Meyer made an incredible pass and Götze was all alone, to place the ball into the net.
Holland showed that they weren't shocked and they really made this evening busy for Bernd Leno! In the 30th minute Leno saved a shoot by Arjen Robben, but the ball had gone to Robin van Persie and he scored the 1-1!
Seconds before the half time whistle had gone, Georginio Wijnaldum scored the lead for Holland!

The second half sees some changes, as Bernd Leno showed that he has the quality to be a potential World Cup squad member, Roman Weidenfeller made his debut in the age of 33!
With now 6 new players on the pitch, Germany played a little powerplay 'til the end and they had deserved themselves the 2-2, after a pass from todays man of the match Mario Götze, Thomas Müller scored the draw.
And Mario Götze made his 2nd assist, as he passed the ball to his former Dortmund-teammate Marco Reus only minutes before the final whistle had gone and Germany secured that lead 'til the end!

Germany 4 - 2 Cyprus

Germany: Leno (46.Zieler) - Großkreutz, Mustafi, Hummels(c), Durm - Goretzka (80. Khedira) - Gündogan (70.Schweinsteiger), Meyer - Götze (55.Volland), Müller (65.Klose), Podolski (46.Reus)

The first half really went as we planned. Leon Goretzka scored the lead in the 10th minute, after a pass from Ilkay Gündogan.
Cyprus scored the 1-1 in the middle of the first half and they surprisingly shoot loads of times right on the goal, but thanks to Bernd Leno, they only managed to score once!
The end of the half time came close and it was still a draw, but then Maximilian Meyer showed all of his class in the last minute!
He scored a good goal, after receiving a pass from Mario Götze to score the lead, seconds before the whistle had gone, but he wasn't finished with that, he intercepted the ball right after the kick-off and made a cross to Lukas Podolski, who only had to nod the ball into the net! With a goal and an assist in only 43 seconds Meyer changed the game dramaticly!

The second half was from then on supposed to be an easy going trough!
Ron-Robert Zieler made a mistake to allow Cyprus to score the 3-2 and he made loads of mistakes from then on!
Zieler was luckily that the cyprus players, where unable to score after one of his mistakes and in the extra time of the second half Miroslav Klose became germanys All-time goalscoring leader by scoring his 69th Goal for Germany!
